Jimmy and I are waiting in his car parked outside of the only internet cafe in this town. It has been hours and Jimmy has grown restless much to my annoyance.
"This is pointless, why would the dude return to the scene of the crime?"
"Shhhh," I responded, "we are going to wait."
He sighed and leaned his seat back as I kept a close eye on the cafe. "I'm sure he knows the cops are looking for him. I doubt he's a complete idiot." I shot a glare at him, "the cops don't know his name. The only thing I have to go on is his face. Only I know what he looks like."
"Why didn't you sit down with a sketch artist then?"
I waved my hand to shush him. "Those things are inaccurate anyhow," I replied,
I don't care if I had to wait here for months or if Jimmy abandoned me. I didn't care how stupid my plan sounded to anyone else.
I was going to save my best friend.
