When I got home, I got a few texts from Will but I kinda ignored them because I didn't want to deal with Will right now, after he tried so many times to talk to me in cooking class I was just done. I think this school year is worse than the ones I had back in New Hampshire, and I haven't even been here for that long either. I went down to my room and sighed and started coughing again to the point I coughed up blood and that was also when Bianca walked downstairs to my room. "Nico?!" She ran over to me, "Are you okay?" "I'm fine." I told her and grabbed wet wipes and cleaned up the blood from the floor. "Was that blood?" Bianca asked me. I couldn't lie to my sister so I nodded, "Nico, how is that fine, that's not normal or a good sign of any sort." "I'm not at the hospital now am I? So I'm fine." I walked passed Bianca and threw the wet wipe away and Bianca sighed, "Well, anyways I came here to tell you that me and Mom are going to the store if you want to come along or need something."

I nodded and followed her upstairs and got into the car. When we got to the store and getting stuff we needed, I saw Will and I hid behind my Mom hoping he won't see me but I think he saw me because he walked up to us. "Hey, Bianca." He said to my sister. "Hi and Nico is here if you want to talk to him." I gave a glare at her and she smiled. "Is this one of your friends, Nico?" My Mom asked me and I nodded. "How about you two go along and I'll meet up with you soon." "You'll thank me later." Bianca said before her and Mom walked off. I sighed. "You haven't been answering any of my texts, please, let me explain." Will said once they were gone. "Explain?" I asked, "What is there to explain other than you just straight up left me after Percy pushed me into the table!" "Nico, please listen! Percy needed me!"

"Needed you!? I was the one who got pushed into the table and Percy was the one who needed you!?" I started to walk away but Will grabbed my arm. "I want to explain to you but-... Nico, please give me one more chance? One more, that's all I'm asking for." I sighed, Will's cute blue eyes were too adorable to say no to, "Fine, but one more chance and that's it." "Thank you!" Will smiled and hugged me but then quickly stopped, "Sorry..." I shook my head, smiling some and hugged him.

The next day, I got to leave early since I joined the baseball team and we had a game today and I sat next to Frank. "Where did you live before you came here?" Frank asked me and I answered, "New Hampshire." Frank nodded. "Did you live here all your life?" Frank shook his head, "No, I originally lived in Canada but moved over here when I was like six." "Oh wow." I looked out the window for the rest of the trip and went we got to the school, I saw that the school said, Anderson High school. I remembered seeing Percy with a girl with that school name on it. I guess this is where she goes to school. When we got to the fields, Mr. Chrion pulled me aside. "Nico, since you're not as experienced in baseball, I want you to sit this game out but you can warm up with the others if you want." I nodded my head and went to the field and warmed up with Frank.

After the warm up and going back to the dugout, I looked over at the Anderson High School team and saw them do angry hand gestures and yelling things at us and my schools team was doing the same thing. "Okay..." I said to myself. I sat down on the bench inside the dugout and watched the game. It's definitely a close game with both teams being tied with five, but when the pitcher threw, what I guess Ryan, a kid on my schools team, said to be an unfair pitch, he attacked the pitcher and got thrown out for the rest of the game. I heard Mr. Chiron curse under his breath and looked at me, "You think you can play this game?" "Why me?" I asked, "I literally just joined a few days ago." Mr. Chiron sighed, "Yeah, I'm aware of that di Angelo, but we have no other players to put in Ryan's place. The two other ones I would have put in to play, are either sick or has a broken arm."

"If you want to put me in, I can play." I coughed. "You okay di Angelo?" Mr. Chiron asked me and I nodded and he handed me two gloves, one was right handed and the other left and I took the right handed one and waited until it was Anderson High School's turn to bat and I got put into right field. I think you're not supposed to yell and be mean to newbies who just joined baseball but that happened anyways because when the other team hit the ball in my direction I caught some and missed some causing them to score a few runs, and when I missed some, the center field and left field people yelled at me. "I'm trying my best!" I yelled at them. They rolled their eyes and scoffed at me. I sighed, at least Percy wasn't on the baseball team, he would probably do something worse to me.

When it was finally McCallum High School's turn to bat, I was first up since it was supposed to be Ryan's turn. I missed the first ball by it flying past me when I tried to hit it. "Strike one!" The umpire yelled. I sighed and waited for the next pitch from the pitcher and when he threw it, I hit it. It went so far that it went over out of the outfield making it a home run. "What the fuck! No way!" I yelled happily running the bases and at third base, my teammates ruffled up my hair and patted me on the back telling me 'good job' and that sort of stuff. When the game was finally over, we sadly lost and when I went into the restroom, I started coughing again and coughed up blood in the sink and when I looked up in the mirror. What I saw wasn't me.

Well, it was me but a girl version, the same black hair but longer, shoulder length. The same brown eyes. The same everything. I shook my head and looked down and when I looked back up, it was me. Not the girl version in the mirror. "I'm going crazy..." I sighed and walked to the bus.
