The Silent Confession

Will's Confession (Leo's House)

When I woke up, I was laying in someone's lap with what felt like an ice pack on my head where I got hit. I groaned and sat up some and saw that I was laying on Will's lap. I blushed some, "You good now Nico? You got hit pretty badly." I slowly nodded but the movement of my head made my head hurt worse so I whined. "No, still hurts." I told him. Will handed me the ice pack and I set it back on my head. "Where am I?" I asked looking around. "Leo's house was the closest to the school so we're at his house." Will told me. Leo walked into the room and saw me awake, "You're awake now." He said and I asked, "How long was I out?" "Not long, a few hours at the most." Leo answered, "Want me to get you something to eat?"

I shook my head but my stomach said otherwise. "Chicken noodle soup seems fine to you?" Leo asked me and I nodded and leaned into the couch. Will looked over to me and he ruffled up my hair. "Hey!" I smacked his hand away from my hair. "Your hair is so soft." Will told me and I leaned into him. He was warm. "And you're warm." I told him. Will chuckled and wrapped his arms around me, which made me blush. "Is that a good thing?" I nodded into Will's chest and I set the ice pack down, "Nico, I... umm..." Will started to say but Leo interrupted it by walking into the living room and saying, "Nico, here's your soup." I sat up and Leo handed it to me. "Thanks." I told him and Leo sat down on the other side of me. Leo nodded and I started slowly eating the soup. "Does my family know I'm here?" I asked Will and Leo when I set the soup bowl down on the coffee table. I saw Will nod, "Yeah, they know." "Okay, good." I got up and looked over to Leo, "Where's the bathroom?" I asked him, not knowing since I never been to his house before until now. Leo told me and I walked over to there and locked the door.

When I looked myself in the mirror, it was me, normal me. The guy me not the girl one that I see once in a while. I sighed in relief, "Thank god!" I looked at the bruise that I got from the baseball that hit me and I touched it, I winced in pain. "Ow! Shouldn't have done that." When I unlocked the door and walked back to the living room, I saw two older woman. "Hey, you must be Nico. I'm Josephine, and this is my wife Hemithea." Josephine pointed over to Hemithea. "Hi." I waved. Why did I wave? I sat back down on the couch. "Leo," Hemithea started, "Want me to make you all some dinner?"

"Yes please." Leo told her and Hemithea went to the kitchen to make breakfast. "So!" Leo turned to Me and Will. "Yes?" Will asked him. "Do you both want to spend the night here? Since it's Friday." Leo asked us. "Umm, yeah sure." I said to him and I saw Will nod, "Why not."

So I needed to spending the night at Leo's and after the amazing dinner Hemithea cooked for us, I ended up falling asleep on Will on the couch as we had a movie turned on in the background but we weren't paying attention to it since we were talking.

I tried opening my eyes but they wouldn't open. I tried moving my hands and feet but they wouldn't move. What... what's happening to me!? I started to panic. No, no no this can't be happing! I tried to speak but nothing was coming out of my mouth, nor was my mouth opening or closing. It was just closed. Why is this happening! I tried moving my hands again, nothing, but then I heard voices. "Hey, Nicole, it's Bianco. Your brother, please come back. Please, Mom and Dad are worried that the doctors are going to pull the plug, it's October, it's getting close to January, please come back to us little sister." I felt his hand intertwine with mine and he squeezed my hand, I wanted to squeeze his hand back but I couldn't. I couldn't move a muscle.

When I opened my eyes, yes! Finally I can open my eyes again!

When I opened them, I looked around and saw that I was no longer in the living room, I believe I was in Leo's room. When I sat up, I saw that I was on a pull out bed and Leo was on his own bed, when I looked over at Will, he was sleeping on a sleeping bag. Since they were still asleep, I guess it to be early morning or very late at night, I wasn't too sure since there was no windows. I quietly got out of the bed and went to get myself some water from the kitchen. I was filling a cup I grabbed from the cabinet with water and I didn't realize someone was behind me until she said, "Can you get me some water as well?" I nearly threw the cup at her. I handed her the cup of water that I had, "Thanks." She said and walked over to the counter and sat down. "Anytime."

I grabbed another cup and filled that one with water and drank it before going back to Leo's room and trying to fall back to sleep. Sleep never came, instead, I just looked at Will and his beautiful face. I smiled and moved some of the hair that was in his face behind his ear. Will then shifted in his sleep and woke up. I quickly moved my hand away from Will. "Nico?" Will asked tiredly. "Yes." I answered him. "What time is it?" I shrugged, "I don't know." Will groaned and sat up. "Is Leo awake?" I shook my head, also sitting up. "Good." He answered. "Why good?" I asked Will.

"I was wondering if I could ask you something, you of course can say no." I felt my heart rate start beating faster and faster that I swear it was going to explode. "What do you want to ask, Will?" I hoped my voice didn't sound nervous or shaky as I thought it sounded. Will paused for a moment, it was so quiet that I thought he had fallen back to sleep but then he spoke, "I, umm... like you Nico, I've been liking you. I'm not sure if you're straight or not but I just wanted to say that I like you and if you don't like me back, I'm totally fine with that."

I swear my heart was beating faster than my body could comprehend it, and I was so shocked that I could barely form words, "I... I..." 'I' was the only thing that was able to come out of my mouth. "You don't like me, I understand." Will answered after that but I took his hand and shook my head, trying to calm my heart rate down and clear my mind long enough to form a sentence, "No! I'm totally in love with you, Will." Will's face lit up in the darkness. "You do?" I nodded and moved down off the pull out bed and sat next to Will. "Yeah, I do." I answered him, then the next question was, "Do you want to go on a date with me?" And my answer was, "Yes."
