Getting Sicker (Nico & Leo)

I stayed up all night last night, and I was so tired in the morning and I felt awful. I dragged myself out of bed and into the kitchen. "You okay, Nico?" My Mom asked me. I shrugged, "I feel awful." I told her so my Mom felt my forehead. "You feel a little warm, you sure you want to go to school today?" I shook my head, "No, but I have to go to baseball practice after school." My Mom gave me some medicine and I had a small breakfast, that was just a kind bar and walked to school with Bianca. Of course we had to run into Percy. "What the fuck do you want Percy?" I asked him. I coughed.

Percy raised his hands, "Cool it di Angelo! I'm just walking to school just like you are." Percy rolled his eyes and shoved me before walking ahead of me. I rolled my eyes, "He's such a bitch." I muttered under my breath. I'm guessing Bianca heard me because she slightly shoved me and said, "Nico, be nice." "How can I when he's being rude to me?" I asked her. "Just be nice to him, being nice goes a long way." I scoffed, "So does him being rude." I started bitting at my nails and walked over to Will and the others when we got to school. Wait, I turned around and walked over to Bianca and her friends when I started coughing, badly. I ran inside the school and into the restroom and locked myself in a stall before I coughed up blood in the toilet. "What's happening to me..." I spit up more blood and got away from the toilet and leaned against the wall. The metallic taste of blood is getting annoying, I just wish I could stop coughing it up.

I unlocked and walked out of the stall and looked in the mirror, I saw the girl that looked exactly like me again. "What the hell...!" I backed away and quickly walked out of the bathroom and the bell ran so I went to my first period class. Great, I have to sit right next to one of the people who saw me accidentally kiss Leo. At least it wasn't Leo. I sighed and put my backpack down on the ground and laid my head on the desk. "What's going on with me?" I asked myself. "What do you mean 'whats going on with you?'" I looked up and saw Percy, "I know what's wrong with you, you're a little bitch who won't stop ruining my life!" Percy grabbed my shirt collar, "For one, you got me kicked off the soccer team!" He threw me against the wall and I started coughing again, "And two, I just don't like your face, but I can fix that one!" Percy punched me in the face and it felt like he broke my nose.

Instead of the kids in the class trying to stop the fight, they encouraged it by chanting "Fight, fight, fight!" Percy punched me in the face again before punching me in the throat. I put my hands to my throat gasping for air. I started coughing again and I fell to my knees, "That's gotta teach you a lesson not to mess with me!" Percy walked over to his desk and was still trying to catch my breath when Will walked into the classroom, as well as the teacher.

I slowly got up off my knees and went to my desk rubbing my throat. "Oww..." "You okay, Nico?" Will asked me. I just nodded my head, I hope Will wouldn't bring up what happened yesterday. I sighed and Will said, "About what happened-" I didn't let him finish, "No, just no. Please just leave me alone for the day." "Nico..." Will started and I just looked over at him, "Nico, what happened? Your eye." I looked away, "You should know who did this by then." I wiped the blood from my nose. "Percy." Will growled and Percy looked over at Will and they started arguing. "Boys!" Yelled the teacher to get their attention, Will and Percy stopped arguing, "You have something to say to the class?" "No sir." Will answered. "The shut your mouths and stop distracting other students with your argument." "Sorry teacher." Percy said, I saw Percy pull Will's hair then went to grab his history book which is underneath the desk and we turned to the page the teacher said to turn to.

After history, I walked out of the classroom and ran into Leo. "Hey, Nico-" I walked away from him. I couldn't talk to Leo. Not yet, not ever. I started coughing again so I ran into the restroom and coughed up blood again, but this time it was like chunks of blood. "Something's really wrong with me."

After school way over, I was walking down to the baseball fields and Leo ran up to me. "Nico! Please let me talk to you." I started walking faster, "No, not right now Leo." Leo grabbed my arm, "I don't hate you for what happened yesterday if that's why you've been avoiding me. I know it was an accident." I shook my hand out of his grip. "I don't hate you Leo, just-... it was embarrassing, Leo!" I turned to face him, "Will, Hazel, Piper, Frank all saw it and you were the one I accidentally kissed!" "Nico, we all do things like that that are embarrassing." "You wouldn't understand." I started walking away from Leo. "I accidentally kissed Percy once!" Leo blurted out. I stopped walking and turned to face Leo again, "You did what!?" "You heard me, I kissed Percy by accident once. That was super embarrassing since it was done at school."

"Let me guess, Percy wasn't happy about that at all." Leo shook his head, "Nope, but even though it was embarrassing and I thought everyone wouldn't like me anymore, though Percy already hated me, everyone just went about their normal day after like a week or two. Okay, well good talk, I'll let you get to practice now." Leo walked off and I went to the baseball fields.
