Nico Takes Home A Kitten (Meow)

I'm not sure how long I was in the bathroom with the kitten but eventually someone knocked at the door. "Hey Nico, are you okay?" It was Will. I got off the floor and opened up the door holding the kitten. "I see you found one of the kittens." Will told me as he looked at the kitten that's in my hands. I nodded and Will looked back at me, "Are you okay, Nico?" I nodded.

After a while at the house and the time with the kitten, it was time to leave so I handed the kitten to Kayla. The kitten had other ideas since I felt as the kitten's claws dug into my skin. "The kitten really likes you. You want to keep her?" I heard Kayla say and I looked at her, surprised, "Really?" I managed to get out of my mouth and she looked at Austin who nodded. "Yes, you can if you want." I nodded and kept the kitten. On the way home Will asked me, "What are you going to name him." I thought for a second and tried speaking out the words, "L-Lucifer." Will looked at me and smiled, shaking his head, "Of course you would name him that." I smiled and the ride home was mostly silent other than the occasional small talk. Well Will talking and either I would nod yes or no or typed what I wanted to say on a notes app on my phone for Will to read.

When I got home and opened the door, I quickly made my way to my room and closed the door and out Lucifer on the bed. I didn't want to deal with my parents right now. I laid down on my bed and Lucifer jumped onto my chest and laid down and started purring. My parents are definitely going to kill me.

I heard my door open and the person who opened the door turned on the lights. "Nico!" Bianca yelled at me. She looked at me for a second before asking, "Why do you have a kitten?" Bianca shook her head. "Never mind that, Mom and Dad saw you walk in and want to talk to you." I groaned and put the kitten down on the bed and I walked upstairs to the kitchen.

"Where were you?" My Mom asked me once I sat down on the stool. My Mom handed me a notebook and pen so I wrote down that I was with Will. "We're aware of that but you texted us saying if it was okay to go with Will somewhere. We told you no but you went anyways. Where did you go?" My Dad said. I wrote down that I went to San Antonio. My Dad shook his head. "You're grounded, Nico. No TV, no video games, no hanging out with finds outside of school for a month." I stood up and the stool slid back a few feet. I scribbled down that it wasn't fair. "To your room until dinner." My Mom told me and I groaned.

I was about to step down when I heard a meow. "What was that?" My Mom asked me and Bianca came up the stairs holding Lucifer. "Nico brought home a cat." Bianca told them.

My parents looked at me. "Room now, Nico." I groaned again and I was about to take the kitten from Bianca's hands when my Mom said, "No. No kittens either." I slowly made my way downstairs and closed the door when I got to my room. Well that went amazingly!
