Costume Shopping (Will vs. Percy)

Ever since the incident that happened at Sea World with Frank, Hazel was now always making sure Frank wouldn't do that again. Frank sat down next to us at lunch and Hazel sat down next to him. When Jason and came and sat down with us, Hazel started talking, "So, have you guys thought of what your Halloween costumes might be yet? It's almost Halloween." We all looked at each other and Piper spoke up, "I mean I have something in mind... I was thinking I could dress up as Aphrodite."

We all looked at Piper, "What?" She asked, looking confused, "Is there something wrong with Aphrodite?" Hazel shook her head, "No, it's just that... you know what, that's a great idea. We should all dress up as Greek gods and goddesses." I looked over at Piper and asked, "Why did you have to give her that idea?"

The school day went by surprisingly fast but maybe that's because I hid in the restrooms for most of the day. "Percy! Quit trying to bullying me into getting you back on the soccer team! I can't do anything about that, talk to Mr. Chiron!" Percy shoved me into the wall and I hit my head and black dots showed up in my vision. Percy put his elbow deep into my throat causing me to gag. "You're the one who got me kicked off! So you should be the one to get me back on! So figure it out, di Angelo!" He punched me in the throat and kicked me in the crotch before leaving me in the restroom. I fell to the ground and managed to close and lock the stall that I was in before someone walked into the restroom. I held down a sob and leaned against the wall silent tears falling down my cheeks. I heard bells ringing and I didn't get up from where I sat, I just pulled my legs up to my chest and put my head down on my knees and cried. I could hold down the sob any longer. The crying sounded like a strangled sob since my throat hurt badly.

As soon as I walked out of the stall I was in, I saw Will washing his hands and he looked at me, "Nico?" Will dried off his hands and walked up to me and he studied me, "What happened?" He whipped the remaining tears from my face. I shook my head and started to walk out of the restroom when Will grabbed my hand, "It was Percy, wasn't it?" He asked and I nodded, "Percy, I swear-..." Will don't finish his sentence and he marched out of the restroom and I just followed behind. I saw Will yank open the art room door and screamed, "Percy!" He walked into the room and I heard yelling, arguing, and the teacher yelling for kids to get the principal. I saw Percy stumble out of the classroom and Will walking up to him, Will spit blood out of his mouth.

"Don't you fucking dare touch Nico ever again!" Will yelled at Percy who was crawling on the floor to get away from Will. Percy backed into a locker and couldn't go anywhere else and just nodded, "Do you understand!" Will yelled at Percy getting in his face. "Y-yes...!" Percy stuttered in response. Will looked pleased with the answer Percy gave him and glared at him for a few more seconds, "I swear, Perseus, if you even lay a finger on Nico-" Percy cut off Will, "I understand Will!" Percy yelled at him then he got up and ran off. Will saw me and walked over to me.

"I-... I think you went too far." I told Will when he was in hearing distance. He sighed, "Sorry..." Will rubbed the back of his neck, "I guess I have the urge to protect you." I smiled at him and grabbed his hand, "That's cute." Will blushed and we went off to whatever class period this is.

At the end of the day Will told our friend group that he has lunch detention for the next few weeks after what he did to Percy. "So, I think we should go to the store and find some Greek costumes for us to try on." Hazel suggested as we were walking home from school then looked at my sister and asked, "Want to join us by dressing up in Greek gods and goddesses for Halloween?" Bianca shrugged, "I'll think about it." Bianca looked at me, "Why don't you go with your friends and I'll tell Mom and Dad where you are." I nodded, "Thanks." Bianca ruffled up my hair before walking off.

Don't take Hazel costume shopping is what I learned. Oh my gosh! I've tried on like eight hundred different Greek god costumes and she didn't like any of them that I tried on. I've tried Apollo, Hercules, Zeus, Poseidon, other ones but Hazel said that none of them fitted me. I was sitting in the dressing room waiting for her to come back with another costume for me to try on. When I saw something fly over the door, I knew that was Hazel giving me another costume to try on. "Try it on Nico!" Hazel told me behind the door. I grabbed the costume and read the name on the tag. "Hades." I mumbled. When I tried it on. It didn't look half bad, it was a black toga with a tainia that went around my head. The shoes were black sandals. "Did you try it on yet?" Hazel asked. "Yeah!" I answered her. I unlocked the door and showed Hazel, she loved it. "It looks perfect!" I sighed, "Thank god!" I changed into my original clothes and once we made sure Leo, Will, Jason, Frank, and Piper got their costumes we left the store.

And with our luck, of course we ran into Percy. Percy glared at me, "Di Angelo." He said in disgust. He saw Will then he looked back at me and grabbed my shoulder and whispered into my ear, "When Will isn't around, you'll get what you deserve!" Will took Percy's hand off my shoulder, "I said not to touch Nico!" He yelled at Percy. He was about to fight him but Jason, Frank, and Leo held him back. "Woah there Will." Percy scoffed and walked off with Luke, Annabeth, and Grover. Grover looked at us in sympathy, "I'm sorry about him." He told us then ran off to catch up with them.
