ABIGIAL WOKE up to the soft light of dawn. She stretched, yawned, and began her morning routine. A quick shower, a light breakfast, and then it was time to get ready for her modeling job.
Just as she was about to leave, her phone buzzed. It was a group FaceTime call from her friends. She grinned, knowing exactly what they wanted.
As soon as Abigail picked up the call, her friends' excited faces filled her screen. "Alright, Abi, we need details!" they chimed.
She couldn't help but laugh. "Okay, okay, where do I start? We walked around Manchester, just talking and laughing. And let me tell you, Jack is hilarious. He has this dry sense of humor that just cracks me up."
Her friends were hanging on to her every word. "And his favorite movie is the same as mine! Can you believe it? We just chatted about everything."
She paused for a moment, her smile softening. "You know, I didn't expect it, but I really enjoyed his company. It was... nice."
Her friends erupted in a chorus of 'awws' and laughter, promising to grill her for more details the next time they talked. As Abigail ended the call, she couldn't help but look forward to her next adventure with Jack.
Abigail was at her modeling job, striking poses and flashing smiles. Her phone buzzed in her bag, a welcome distraction during her break.

Abigail laughed, shaking her head. Then it hit her she was seeing Jack for the second time her heart raced just a little.
Jack was attractive and Abigial found him hilarious but she had to remember no feelings. He wants his ex and she wants hers.

As the final camera flash of the day faded, Abigail let out a sigh of relief. She gathered her belongings, her mind already drifting to the quiet comfort of home.
Stepping outside, the cool evening air was a welcome contrast to the heated lights of the studio. The city was alive with the hum of evening traffic, and the stars were just beginning to twinkle in the darkening sky.
Across the street, she saw Jack's car parked. She could see him through the windshield, his eyes bright as he caught sight of her. He gave her a wave, his smile wide and welcoming.
Abigail crossed the street, her heart fluttering in anticipation. As she approached, Jack hopped out of the car to greet her. His warm hug was the perfect end to a long day.
"Fancy a drive, beautiful?" he asked.
She laughed, hopping into the passenger seat. "Only if you're driving."
He winked at her, starting the car. They drove off, the city lights twinkling in the rearview mirror. They chatted and laughed, the radio playing their favorite songs.
It was a simple moment, but to Abigail, it felt like magic. Just her and Jack, driving under the starlit sky. It was a night she knew she'd remember.
