How we met

Hannah's POV

6 years ago after I left home and decided to come here in the Philippines. I can survive here since I know how to speak tagalog kasi my mom wants us to learn tagalog even if we're at London. I also chose to come here because it's the home of my mother and they won't think that I will be going here kasi usually I went to Japan or Korea if I don't feel okay. Pagdating ko dito I hurriedly went to Paula to help me, I'm going to continue pursuing my studies here and I was actually at 4th year college that time.

With the help of my best friend, (by the way Paula was actually half Filipina too) I was able to falsify some of my documents without them knowing about it. Hindi naman ako nahirapan because not to brag ah, but I know I'm bright kaya ang dali lang sa kanila na tanggapin ako. The school's name was actually 'Griffin International School', yes you heard it right, it was their school. I took up Business Ad because I want to help my family on our businesses.

Eto na nga, pasukan na and after knowing my schedule, I immediately went to our room. My class schedule starts at 7:00 am and sa pagmamadali ko I bumped into someone.

"What the f---, what do you think you're doing?" Sabi niya pero, Oh my gosh ang gwapo niya and he's so hot. Hey snap it! What are thinking?

"Hey! I'm talking to you! Tskk! You're so dumb!" Wait, wait, did he just say that I'm dumb? Gosh no one dares to call me that!

"Excuse me? How dare you calling me dumb! You jerk!"

"Did you just ---" hindi ko na pinakinggan pa ang sinabi niya and I went directly inside the class. Loko yun ahh, how dare him call me dumb! I don't care kahit gwapo siya! Wala siyang karapatan na sabihan ako ng ganon! I'm a princess kaya! My family treats me like a princess and sasabihan niya ako ng ganon? Huh! The nerve!

Maya maya may pumasok and unfortunately magka classmate kami ng jerk na yun! Whatever!

Days and months passed by pero you know what, I think I like him, yes. Kasi naman I saw him the other day, I saw him how he treated those kids in the streets.

"May bait din palang tinatago eh" sabi ko while smiling, gosh what's wrong with me? Why am I smiling?

Habang tumatagal talaga mas lalo akong nagkakagusto sa kanya, to the point na naging stalker niya ako. Yes, I stalked him but hindi naman ganon ka sobra.

" Girl, do you really like him that much?" Sabi ni Paula.

"Yes girl, I know it sounds weird but I guess I don't like him anymore, I think I'm in love with him."  Sagot ko naman sa kanya.

Pero nalungkot ako ng isang araw when I saw him with someone at the mall, they seem so sweet and he even call her 'babe'. Ang sabi sabi ng iba, he already has a girlfriend and sa America daw ito nag-aaral.

Wala na akong nagawa, oo, hindi ko na ipinaglaban ang nararamdaman ko sa kanya dahil may iba na. Masasaktan lang ako pag pinag-patuloy ko pa. Tsaka ayaw ko rin manira ng relasyon ng iba. Hindi pa naman ako ganon ka desperada.

After a year naka graduate na rin ako and still ayaw ko parin umuwi sa amin, I missed them so much pero I want here. The place is so good and I don't want to marry someone I don't love, ipagpipilitan lang sa akin ni Daddy yun.

As I was walking, may nakita akong matanda na tumawid ng kalsada. Tapos may papalapit na sasakyan, bigla kong hinablot si Lola dahil muntikan na talaga siyang masagasaan.

"Okay lang po ba kayo?" Nag-aalalang tanong ko sa kanya.

"Oh my, kala ko mamamatay na ako iha, thank you for saving me." Sabi niya pabalik, grabe kinabahan ako dun ah.

"Mabuti naman at okay lang po kayo" pag-aalalang sabi ko sa kanya. Hinatid ko na siya kung saan siya pupunta para naman maging safe si Lola, ayaw kong maulit uli yung nangyari kanina.

"Thank you iha, may I know your name?" Tanong sa akin ni Lola E.

"Its Hannah po, Hannah Lopez, ah eh, I'll go na po ha? May pupuntahan pa po kasi ako eh." Sabi ko kay lola, Paula and I will meet today at the coffee shop and I know natagalan na ako ng sobra and alam kung nababagot na siya dun kakahintay sa akin.

"Sige iha, thank you again, I'm Lola E by the the way hoping to see you next time." Ngiting sabi sa akin ni lola, nagba-bye na rin ako. After a few minutes nakarating na rin ako sa coffee shop.

"What took you so long?" Pang-bungad na sabi sa akin ni Paula.

"Something happened lang, anyway what do you want to say?" Pabalik kong tanong sa kanya.

"I think your brother Haxen knew where you are, nakita ko siya last time sa isang hotel. I immediately hid myself baka kasi makita niya ako." Sabi niya na ikinabigla ko. It can't be!
