Amaya struck several times, while Indra easily dodged and attacked as well. The blades clashed again and again, while small sparks could be seen.

Everyone could see how heated this fight would become. Because neither of them showed any mercy. Even Amaya did her best to show Indra that she had never been weak.

"Jutsu of the flaming fireball!" came out of his mouth, causing Amaya to jump to the side, roll briefly, stand up and attack with her katana.

This jutsu was one that Indra had learned himself. Admittedly, the jutsu was very strong, which Amaya knew. Nevertheless, she could not allow herself to lose. She wanted to finally show Indra that she wasn't weak! She wanted him to realize that she was worth something and that he could talk to her.

Another clash could be heard as the opponents looked at each other with a hate-filled gaze. His dark eyes met hers, which were slightly narrowed. Indra had to smile briefly. He had really thought that she would give up more quickly. She was strange and different, he had realized that for years. Nevertheless, she was still too weak in his eyes. Too weak to get his attention.

Admittedly, he thought Amaya was beautiful. More beautiful than any other girl in the village. She didn't run after him either, but studied. She wanted to learn, to know something about this world that always put other girls off.

And it was only because of these thoughts that Indra had made a mistake. In his stomach, he felt a sharp kick that made him take a step back. His eyes turned to Amaya, who smiled briefly and had a gleam in her eye. "Don't rejoice too soon," Indra said, attacking Amaya again and again.

This time, she found it visibly difficult to fend off and dodge his attacks. Indra didn't see her as a girl, but simply as an opponent, which she quickly realized.

The blows became faster, as did the jutsus he fired at Amaya. Again and again, Amaya managed to dodge and was finally hit. She fell to her knees, gasping.

"Are you giving up?" asked Indra, who ran towards her with his katana. "Never..." Amaya spoke exhaustedly and stood up. "I told you I'd show you that I'm not weak!"

Indra grinned again and ran towards Amaya as she prepared to attack. But this was a deception. Indra briefly disappeared before her eyes before she quickly turned around, raised her katana and just managed to parry his attack. "Not bad." Indra admitted and launched another attack.

Amaya tried everything to defend herself and finally felt a kick in her stomach, which caused her to be thrown back. Indra used so much chakra that Amaya felt several planks in her back and part of the hut collapsed, literally burying her.

"Indra!" Ashura shouted angrily. "You can't handle her like that!" Indra glanced briefly at his brother before focusing on Amaya, who was stirring under the boards. "She actually endured it..." he murmured, his eyes widening as a new aura formed around Amaya.

The rage that had been unleashed in Amaya was palpable. Blazing fire rimmed her body as Amaya slowly stood up and laughed. Blood dripped onto the floor, which she visibly didn't care about.

"Amaya?" Ashura asked softly when he could feel her change. As her hair fell into her face, no one could see her face, which had twisted into a smile.

Her hand tightened on the hilt of her katana, which, like her body, was enveloped in fire. Her head rose as if in slow motion before the eyes of those present widened.

At that very moment, Indra knew that he had completely misjudged Amaya. There was no way she was weak, especially because of what he had just seen.

The red eyes flashed at him, while her body was not at all as calm as it should be. "The Sharingan..." Indra breathed before he could only see Amaya running towards him.
