The spectacle startled every inhabitant of the village. Takeru was also frightened by what he could see. He had never seen his mother fight seriously before and could only watch her kill any attackers with a blink of an eye.

The purple figure around her protected her body as best she could while Amaya took their lives with her fire or lightning jutsu. Blood splattered around while Amaya could only laugh. A laugh that she always had when she was no longer in control.

Takeru had long known about his uncle and grandfather. He remembered the stories of his mother when she had lost her control. They were just stories to him at the time, but being able to see it now made everything he had heard come true.

The young Otsutsuki was smart enough to know what was going on. This was a talent he had received from his father, just as his mother had always told him. In order to understand and get to know his whole family better, Takeru had started asking questions at an early age. Questions that the books could answer.

His eyes were fixed on his mother. The person who had raised him so lovingly. The woman who was allowed to possess the Sharingan and would now give her life for this village. Takeru loved his mother. He wanted to protect her when he was strong enough. However, he would soon only be six years old, so he was still too weak for that.

"Mother..." he whispered softly as he watched her kill and get hurt again and again. Because Amaya always had her Sharingan activated, she hardly had any chakra left to use her jutsus.

There was no mercy to be seen, while the Uchiha's laughter could be heard throughout the village. Every inhabitant was happy to be protected by her at that moment and not to be her opponent. But what nobody knew was that Amaya was no longer able to. Her chakra had long since been used up, which was why her Sharingan was no longer active.

Amaya gritted her teeth as she tried to see the blurred faces that stood opposite her. Her hands trembled while her heart beat faster due to the loss of chakra.

The Uchiha briefly squeezed her eyes shut before blood trickled out of them, restricting her vision even more. Her thoughts turned to Takeru. Her son who had to protect her. She probably had no choice but to kill these bandits now. "You...will not enter this village under any circumstances!" Amaya spoke coolly, clenching her fist before more chirping could be heard.

Just as she had gathered enough chakra in her fist, she dashed forward before thrusting her hand into their chests one by one, taking their lives. She didn't even care how much blood was on her, staining her clothes and skin.

Amaya regained control of herself when her Sharingan deactivated and she could once again see what she had done. But this time she didn't care that she had killed. She had protected what was important to her. But what she didn't notice due to her near-blindness was that a bandit took the last of his strength into his hands and stabbed his katana through her chest.

"Mother!" Amaya heard at that moment before she collapsed on the battlefield.
