Amaya hated herself. She hated herself for what she had done. Although Hagoromo had assured her that he would not banish her from the village, she had not left her room for days. She hadn't even shown up for dinner, which was why the food had always been placed in front of her door, which she had barely touched, if at all.
Everything had gone well in the last few weeks, even months. Amaya had never lost control, which was why she had just hated herself even more. Hiro was only dead because of her. Only because of her Mangekyou Sharingan, which she had obtained in Indra's absence.
Nothing was worse for her than being responsible for a death. And then for a boy who was a good friend to Indra. Every time Amaya closed her eyes, all she could see was the blood before her eyes. The voice of Hiro, who had begged her for mercy.
Sometimes Amaya had thought about leaving the village. The village where she had been allowed to grow up and had become her new home. But she had always rejected this idea. And there was only one reason.
Indra Otsutsuki
Amaya had no idea how long she had been sitting in this room thinking about everything. A few weeks must have passed since Indra had left. Her sense of time was not exactly the best in her current state. At that moment, the Uchiha didn't know that Indra had long since set off to return to her.
Indra's task was easier than expected. The village he had to visit was not difficult to find, so he had completed his task straight away. Although it had only taken him a day or two, he had stayed a little while to make sure everything was in order before he left. Now, at this point, Indra didn't know what kind of hatred and strife he had caused.
His path had led him straight back home. To the place where Amaya would be waiting. Admittedly, he had missed her and just wanted to take her in his arms. During those long days, he had realized several times how much he loved Amaya.
He had made his point more than clear to her, which made Indra grin on the way. Amaya was his girl, whom he had long since possessed. The closer he got to his village again, the happier he became. He wouldn't show his feelings to anyone. Not even to his friends, whom he had trained. Not even his father, who would want to see his old cheerfulness.
"I'm back father." Indra said as he stood in front of the estate in the early afternoon and saw his father on the veranda. "You're back before Ashura, just as I thought." he said, looking at his son with a slight smile. "How have you been?"
"Fine." Indra simply said and explained to him how easy it was to help these inhabitants. Hagoromo nodded thoughtfully and would soon find out how the people behaved after his presence.
"Where is Amaya?" he asked directly. He had noticed earlier that she wasn't training with the others. "Shouldn't she be training?"
Hagoromo looked at his son, slightly saddened. "She hasn't left her room for days." he explained to his son, who raised his eyebrow. "Why not?" he asked immediately, waiting slightly impatiently for his answer.
"A few days ago, she received her Mangekyou Sharingan and lost her control." came from Hagoromo, causing Indra to swallow slightly. She had received the Mangekyou Sharingan? How? It took a great loss, didn't it?
"She told me that she had already received her Mangekyou Sharingan after you left. But there was another reason why she lost her control." Hagoromo continued. Indra's heart beat faster when he learned that he was the reason she received this powerful Sharingan.
He realized that Amaya would love him. If not, this loss would not have been great for her. "What reason?" Indra asked, narrowing his eyes. What was the reason she couldn't control this power?
"Indra, my son. I'm sure she'll tell you herself when she's ready. But I would like to tell you one thing. That night, Amaya killed someone."
"Killed?" Indra asked, shocked. Amaya would never kill anyone! "With the help of her new power, she killed Hiro with a lightning jutsu."
Indra froze in place. Hiro was dead? What was he doing with her? And why did it hit him of all people?
Ignoring his father, Indra ran into the mansion to get to Amaya. He stopped in front of the closed room door before his eyes turned to the tray with her food. And then he realized that it had been so bad for Amaya that she hadn't touched any food.
His hand reached forward to slowly push open the door to the room. Nothing but darkness met him, which was why it had taken him a while to see a little better.
But there was no Amaya to be seen on the bed, so he looked around. "Amaya?" he asked, before he heard a sob and finally saw his girl's face on the floor next to her bed, looking at him with tear-filled eyes.
"Indra."
