Caspian looked around the classroom as he followed the couple in front of him inside. The cream colored walls were filled with bright murals and various art projects that were scattered in no particular order. In the front of the room sat a man that looked to be no older than 50 or so with slicked back graying brown hair and circular glasses covering his eyes. He sat on a stool behind an easel with a pencil in had and a stoic expression on his face.

"I guess I should go make myself acquainted then" Caspian spoke aloud to neither of them in particular.

"Ok, I'll be at the table over there in the far corner in the seating area behind him" Estella said to Caspian and she walked with Noah to his table for a moment.

Caspian said nothing as he simply nodded and made his way towards the teacher in the front center of the large room. It wasn't until now that Noah was regretting his seating choices in this class, it had always been a bore to him and the only thing that kept him awake was joking around with his friends on the opposite side of the room. At the table... farthest away from the teacher...

"You're sure you don't want me to join you Stell? I'm not trying to intrude or anything I just want to make sure you're ok."

Estella looked at him and tried to search his eyes for any sign of a lie. She obviously trusted Noah, but he was still a man and men can get very jealous but she needed him to trust her too.

"Yeah, I know you would be bored and Caspian is nothing to worry about. I promise I know it's been years since I've seen or talked to him but I have a strong feeling he's still him. Plus if anything happens I'll just snitch and tell his grandma I still go see her all the time." Estella laughed as she looked at him to try and easy any sense of worry he appeared to have.

"Plus you guys are like two dogs on opposite sides of the fence having a standoff, and I'm the fence. I could just feel the testosterone" she added with a knowing look and a slight shake of the head.

Noah went and took his seat as the boys started filling the room and making their way to the back. As they approached the table Marcus was the first to speak and knowing Marcus the first thing out of his mouth would be something rather stupid.

"Hello Estella your friend is in this class to huh? Has Noah finished pouting yet?"

"Shut up Marcus" Noah replied before she could say a word as he gave her a light kiss and sent her on her way. "I'll see you when class is over" he spoke while ushering her away.

As she made her way over to the table she could hear Caspian laugh at something Mr. Doughs had said to him. He's always had a way with people when they were younger everyone loved him and he was always the center of attention no matter how much he avoided it. Shortly after she got to her seat he came and made his way over and took the seat next to her.

"I like him, he seems like a really cool teacher. He really reminds me of my dad with his personality and he even looks like him with that grumpy expression" Caspian told her hiding his somber expression.

Estella only looked at him with a remorseful smile, she knew he probably missed his parents but she had no idea how his life had been in Greece nor how he coped all these years without them. She couldn't imagine the pain it would cause if she was to share the same fate as he once had. She knew Caspian was strong and that he had tremendous family support to help him through the process of grieving.

Meanwhile on the opposite side of the room Noah was sitting with his friends as the last bell rung before the start of class.

"So she does in fact know the new guy huh?" One of the boys asked while looking across the room at Estella and Caspian.
