Adder: All 8 of them have been constructed on the sites you selected.
Hawke: Then all is well.
Black Hole Soldier: Commander Hawke! We've reports of a large Green Earth force heading this way!
Hawke: I estimated they'd be appearing about this time. They're all air units?
Black Hole Soldier: Let me check.
The soldier did a run-through of his intel.
Black Hole Soldier: Yes, Sir!
Hawke: How predictable. Deploy our troops immediately.

Ruby, Harriet, Marrow, and Eagle had to battle.
Eagle: Alright! Let's take down that fortress!
Ruby: WAIT!
Eagle: What is it, Ruby?
Ruby: Those are Anti-Air units!
Harriet: Ugh, we just had to go with the air specialist.
Green Earth Soldiers: Come on, Commander! Let's get to it!
Eagle: But- But-
Marrow: Dude, they obviously trust you. Let's just go with it. Besides, we can take them.
Eagle: .... You're right! TO BATTLE! All we have to do is destroy those enemy mini cannons!
Harriet: You have a CO power right?
Eagle: HEH! Of course. Just provide a distraction while I get ready!

The three directed the ground troops to take out the anti-air units!
And then-
Eagle: HERE GOES! LIGHTNING STRIKE!!
Eagle's air units strengthened as his bombers went right for the mini cannons.
BOOOM!!!
They were destroyed.
Hawke: They've been destroyed? That's it then. We shall withdraw.
Eagle: It appears that we've won.
Ruby: You did it, Eagle! See? There's always hope even in the worst situations.
Eagle smiled.
Eagle: I really missed you guys.
Ruby: AWWW! YOU DO CARE ABOUT US!
Eagle: Don't push it, Red.
Later...
Hawke began his next operation.
Hawke: What are the enemy troops doing?
Black Hole Soldier: They appear to be gathering on a small island on the inland sea.
Hawke: And our troops have surrounded the sea?
Black Hole Soldier: Yes, sir. A complete wall encircles them. All that remains is to destroy them unit by unit with the Black Cannon.
Hawke: It's too early to relax. Much could happen before they are annihilated. Tell the troops to keep on their toes.
