You grabbed the sniper rifle and hid in the snow as Wolf fired, but you remembered all of your experiences and listened for noises.
(Y/N): GOT YOU!
You fired a shot and hit Wolf in her eye!
Wolf: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!! HOW?!

Wolf: SHOW YOURSELF!
You fired another shot, shooting off her right index finger!
Wolf: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!
She held tightly onto her rifle.

Then another shot rang out, and grazed her cheek.
Wolf: What?
Ruby: Not on my watch.
Wolf: So, you decided to join in after all.
She fired more shots, but to no avail from her.
Another shot rang out, and-
Wolf: AAAAAAAAAAAARGH!
She was hit in the chest!
Wolf started to cough up some blood.
Wolf: What's going on?
Her eyesight was getting dreary.
Wolf: I have to keep g-
Then one more shot rang out and struck her lungs!
Wolf: AGH!
She fell back on the snow.
Soon...
You found her first.
(Y/N): Wolf.
Wolf: You're a good shot, Boy. Please, finish me.
(Y/N): What?
Wolf: I just ... I just want to die.
(Y/N): Why are you-
Wolf: I was born on a battlefield. Raised on a battlefield. Gunfire, sirens and screams... they were my lullabies... Hunted like dogs day after day... driven from our ragged shelters... That... was my life. Each morning, I'd wake up... and find a few more of my family or friends dead beside me. I'd stare at the morning sun... and pray to make it through the day. The governments of the world turned a blind eye to our misery. But then... he appeared. My hero... Saladin... he took me away from all that.
(Y/N): You mean Big Boss?
Wolf: I became a sniper... hidden, watching everything through a rifle's scope. Now I could see war, not from the inside, but from the outside, ...as an observer... I watched the brutality... the stupidity of mankind through the scope of my rifle. I joined this group of revolutionaries... to take my revenge on the world. But... I have shamed myself and my people. I am no longer the wolf I was born to be... In the name of vengeance, I sold my body and my soul. Now...I am nothing more than a dog.
(Y/N): No. You're not.
Wolf: Huh?
(Y/N): Canines are all loyal animals. Noble creatures who stick by their codes. Mercenaries are known as "Dogs of war." But in the end you followed what you believed to be right. You're a lone wolf. Besides, you could have killed Meryl, but you didn't.
Wolf: I already told you. I don't kill for sport. I only shot at her to lure you, Snake, and your female comrades out. I think I see now. I was never waiting to kill. I was waiting for someone to finally kill me.
The others then arrived.
(Y/N): She's ... almost dead.
Snake: You can come out now ... Otacon.
Otacon appeared.
Otacon: No. I ... I loved you.
Wolf reached her arm ot.
(Y/N): What is it?
Wolf: My gun. Please, give her to me.
Otacon grabbed her gun and ran over to give it to Wolf.
Wolf: She's part of me.
Then with a grip on her weapon, she closed her only remaining eye.
Wolf: Now ... set me free.
You didn't want to do it, so you gave your weapon to Snake.
(Y/N): Just do it.
You turned away.
Snake held the gun, and put it to Wolf's head. After a few seconds-
Otacon: G-Goodbye.
BANG!
Otacon began to cry over her body.
Otacon: I ... I couldn't do anything to-
Yang: HEY! Get a hold of yourself! You can still help us!
(Y/N): That's right Metal Gear Rex is up ahead.
Otacon: I ...
Snake: Find a safe place to hide. Don't trust anyone.
Otacon: I ... Hey, what was she fighting for? What are you guys fighting for? What am I fighting for?
(Y/N): That's ... something you have to find out for yourself, Hal. Just get to safety.
Otacon: Okay. I understand.
With that, you guys went to the entrance to the underground hangar.
