Prologue

Author's POV

"Hurry up Jen! We need to catch the flight." Jisoo urged her wife, Jennie.

Jennie, the cat eyed beauty, scowled at her wife. "Will you stop it? We still have at least 3 hours before our flight."

"What if we get into traffic?" Jisoo countered.

"We won't dummy!" Jennie smiled, pecking her lips.

They are officially married an hour ago. Eight years of their relationship finally turned into marriage. Both of them never let go of each other, though there were a lot of ups and downs.

"Why do you look so beautiful?" Jisoo asked, back hugging her wife.

"Because I am." Jennie giggled as Jisoo nuzzled her face on her shoulder.

"How are you feeling? I mean we are finally going to Hawaii." Jisoo said excitedly.

Jennie cannot help but laugh at her, "You sounds like a kid."

Jisoo pouted, hugging Jennie tighter. There families are always happy about their relationship. They were close friends from school, until in university Jisoo expressed her feelings towards Jennie. The feeling was mutual as they started to date. It becomes deeper as the time passed.

"Eight freaking years," Jennie smiled, tracing her wedding ring.

"Yes, eight freaking crazy years." Jisoo kissed her forehead.

They are at the wedding venue guest room, putting on their casual attire before leaving for airport. All of their friends and family were present in their wedding.

A knock heard on the door, "Are you two done yet?" It's Jisoo's aunt.

Jisoo's parents were divorced when she was just five. She was living with her mother until twelve. Her mother passed away because of cancer. Jisoo's aunt, Sohyun, from her mother's side, loves her dearly. She was unmarried. Jisoo was suffered for her parents loss yet, never felt alone because of her aunt.

"Yes! We are about to leave." Jisoo replied.

They didn't wasted any time, as they bid farewell to both of their parents.

"Be careful on your way kids." Jennie's father, Chan-ok said.

"Don't give Jisoo hard time." Jennie groaned at her mom, Minjun.

Jisoo smiled at them, "Don't worry at all. We will be fine."

Sohyun hugged Jisoo, "just don't be careless and clumsy. Enjoy your honeymoon."

After all they left in Jisoo's car. Jisoo isn't driving though. They hired a driver. The whole ride, Jennie excitedly talk about her plans after landing in Hawaii.

"You look so cute while blabbering." Jisoo said, pinching Jennie's cheek.

Jennie pouted, "No you're the cute one."

Jisoo stared affectionately at beautiful wife. She never even imagine of leaving this girl. She loves her wholeheartedly.

"Why? What's wrong?" Jennie asked, noticing her wife's stare.

Jisoo smiled, "Did I even said how much i love you?"

Jennie rolled her eyes, "Every single day. What's wrong with you?"

"Nothing. Just want you to know that you'll be the only one in my life. My everything belongs to you." Jisoo said before holding Jennie closer.

Jennie smiled shyly, "You're becoming more cheesy."

Jisoo giggled, as they were about to kiss, the driver told them that they are already arrived. Both of them get down from the car before taking their luggage with them.

"Jen go ahead. I'll just take this call and bring our bags." Jisoo told before going back to the car.

Jennie stayed on the other side of the road patiently. She is looking around as her phone ring. She picked up the call.

"Hey mom. We already arrived." Jennie said.

"That's great. Are you two inside the airport?" Minjun asked.

"Not yet. Jisoo is making a call." Jennie said, as she look over at Jisoo.

Jisoo smiled at her from the other side of the road. She is holding a bag while crossing the road.

"She is done mom. I will call--" Jennie can not finished her sentence as the incident happend in a matter of few seconds.

Jisoo was crossing the road smiling at Jennie until her body hit by a speeding car. The impact thrown her few feet away. Blood splattered on the road, people around shouted in emergency and fear. The car left without stopping. Jennie stared at Jisoo in shock. Neither she can move nor speak. Her surrounding start to spin as she lost her consciousness.
