Jisoo's POV

Chan-ok summoned us in his office. The news of me fighting with Doyong while Jennie is drunk, is viral now. It made a huge impact on social media and their company as well. From the starters, Jennie and original Jisoo's marriage was secretive. No one knew that Jennie is married with none other than Kim Jisoo, the famous architect.

Everyone knows that Chan-ok and Sohyun is practically rivals. They compete with each other in the business frequently. Even Jennie and Jisoo's relationship was also hidden from media's reach. I was informed all about it before getting into this job. But I lost it last night. I'm ready to take whatever the consequences are.

I looked over at Jennie, who is silently drinking her coffee. We haven't talk about the last night incident yet. She is kinda avoiding me again. I choose to approach her. I can't just move on with this problem between us.

"Jen, do you want something to eat before going to the... office?" I asked.

She shook her head only.

"Are you feeling well? Do you have headache?" I asked again.

This time she give me a look, "I'm all fine. Stop being nervous. Dad won't eat you alive." She blurted out.

I sighed, knowing that I'm in deep shit.

"I couldn't think straight last night. He was saying... some pretty bad stuffs about you. I just... I'm sorry." I apologised to her.

She took my hand in hers, "It's okay. I'm still surprised that you have this side though."

I frowned, "What do you mean?"

She chuckled, "How can you forget about yourself? You were always ten miles away from violence. For you it's stupid to get into fight just because someone badmouthed about me or you. There was this time in college when a senior keep on hitting on me while I was ignoring. Then one day in the cafeteria he and his friends were verbally sexualizing me with nasty words, I couldn't take it anymore and slapped him. Instead of stopping them, you stopped me, saying 'Just let it go, it's not worth anything. I'll report it to the principal.' I was extremely mad at you for not standing up for me. Well, it was not the first time though there's more.."

I'm totally shocked to hear it. How can she not protect her girlfriend? What kind of a stupid person she was?

I composed myself,  "Well, people change. I don't want anyone to get close to you. You are mine only and protecting you is my duty."

She blushed slightly at my comment.

"You're being cheesy these days." She pinched my cheeks.

Only if she knows that I'm not the one she thinks. I might be six feet under the ground. It pains my heart though.

"Do you have any idea what kind of trouble we are in!?" Chan-ok shouted at us angrily.

His whole face is red, as if smoke will come out of his ears. Jennie is standing beside me head down.

"Who told you to get wasted with that stupid guy!? It was dangerous. What's wrong with you Jennie? I never expected it from you. What if something really happened? Are getting dumb?" His words made Jennie flinch.

I intervened, "Sir, please calm down. Nothing happened. She is perfectly fine."

"Shut up Jisoo! You are one of the reason for this issue as well." He glared at me, "If you thought about our companies reputation then you wouldn't do that? Did you thought that your heroic act will be rewarded!?"
