Author's POV

Jisoo stared at the ceiling blankly as a deeply sleeping Jennie snuggle by her side. She feels uncomfortable but there's nothing she can do. If she react too much or try to move away from Jennie, then it would be a problem. Jennie will start to think that something is wrong and maybe question her.

"Lisa haven't called me yet. Should I call her?" Jisoo said, looking over at the clock.

It's 11 at night. She decided to call her bestfriend, to know how is Jinyoung doing. She get down from the bed slowly, trying not to wake up Jennie. She dialled Lisa's number, standing in the balcony.

After a few rings, Lisa answered, "Hey Jisoo! I was thinking about calling you."

"Hmm. How is he?" Jisoo asked.

"He is recovering very fast. In one week, he can go back home." Lisa said, yawning.

"Thank God. Is he mad, because I can't visit him at this moment?" Jisoo felt sad.

"Of course not. He is sad but, not angry. He understand the situation. Thought I didn't told him the exact situation right now. As you know he is a smartass like you, obviously he assumed." Lisa said, trying to assure Jisoo.

"I wish I can visit him. I really miss him." The older girl said, staring at the starlight sky.

"Is she sleeping?"

"Yeah."

"How is it going?"

Jisoo's mind go back to the incident as she blushed red, "Horrible. Jennie is too much clingy. I don't know how to normalize with this girl."

"Is she hot?" Lisa asked.

"Yah!! What the heck!? How can you-- I mean call her that." Jisoo protested.

"Oh my!! Are you being protective?" Lisa laughed.

"Fuck you!" Jisoo cursed.

"Anyway, your mom called me, asking about you. I guess she need money."

Jisoo clenched her jaw, "If she call you again, then don't pick up."

"But Jisoo, I heard that drug dealer coming to your house looking for Nahee. She didn't paid yet. I am worried, what if something happ--"

"I don't care about her anymore. Even if she die I won't be attending her fune--" Jisoo couldn't finish her sentence.

"Who are you talking with?" Jennie asked.

Jisoo look at her panicked. She thought Jennie heard everything.

"I-I uhmm talking to my aunt." Jisoo lied.

Jennie stared at her eyes intensely. Aas if she can see through Jisoo.

"Okay. It's cold outside. You should finish talking fast and sleep." Jennie said before going back to room.

Jisoo immediately hung up without talking another word, as she followed after Jennie.

"S-She was asking how are you. I thought your sleep might be disturbed that's why I went to balcony." Jisoo rambled.

Jennie stared at her again before speaking, "Why are you rambling so much? It's not like you're talking to some other girl."

Jisoo immediately shook her head, "No no! I swear--"

"Chill! You are being nervous. What's wrong with you?" Jennie laughed lightly.

She pat the empty side of bed, "Let's sleep Jisoo. I'm tired."
