One would think The Triarchy would have learned their lesson by now.
Even its new leader, Racallio Ryndoon, didn't anticipate this new and rather young foe.
After Corlys fell in battle, sometime later, they were attacked. Their ships were burned, men were being burned and even some were picked up by a dragon. Either by his talons or jaws. Either way, they were very much dead.
This dragon was something else. The beast was not only very fast, and it breathed blue fire. The dark blue dragon was too fast for their scorpions and grappling hooks to catch him.
The pirates were panicking. The smoke was so thick they can't see nor can they breathe. They jumped into the water before anything can happen to them.
But the dark blue dragon wasn't the only thing that was terrifying.
His rider was too.
The boy was a mere sixteen year old, wearing an armour and sigil that belonged to House Velaryon. Yet even at his age, he's a prodigy. A skilled warrior that bested multiple opponents with ease. And this was due to the fact that he trains every five days. Correcting every major flaw within his technique. To the point where as of now it looked like he's a master of the blade. But even this young warrior was smart. He wasn't a god and he always reminds himself that war isn't fought by playing fair. He does whatever it takes to win.
So while this dragon-rider fought on the ground, his dragon provided air support. Killing any group that interferes with his rider.
General Ryndoon couldn't lose anymore ships, and thus, he retreated to Tyrosh. And by the time he started sailing away, only one man remains.
The Dragon-Rider approaches with his blade drenched in the blood of his enemies. His armour has some, even on his helmet.
The dragon lands behind him. The dark blue beast was massive enough. Though this dragon was no where near as massive as say a certain Cannibalistic Dragon, The Silver Dragon, The Bronze Fury and The Queen Of All Dragons, he was big enough to compete against The Red Queen and The Blood Wyrm. The amount of freedom this dragon has, not to mention the feeding of several sea and land creatures, as well as enemy humans, and exercise, contributed to his growth.
Gaelithox. Named after one of The Valyrian Gods. The God of fire, stars, moon, sun, and the dawn, rival of Meraxes.
Also known as The Sea King. Due to him being able to breathe and swim underwater.
But while this dragon was terrifying enough, his rider proved to be just as terrifying.
He removed his helm, and the man can see that psychically he's a sixteen year old boy clad in armour. Not even green. Maybe less green, or not green at all. His silver dreads are long, his eyes are a violet colour. He looked almost like Corlys Velaryon. But he would best be described as being the spitting imagine of his father, Ser Laenor Velaryon. Only difference was is that he's more build than Laenor.
