BRANCH'S POV

It all started as a so-called normal day. Trolls singing the morning song as all danced along. It was pretty average I suppose until someone scared the pancakes out of me. Only one person who I knew would try to force me to join the morning song. Poppy. Her hair moved around gracefully showing that she was excited to see me. For some reason, I wondered why. Her pink eyes fluttered with a look that described beautiful. But there was something she always wanted when she gave him that look.

"Good morning to you?" Branch asked enthusiastically.

"Uhm good morning," Poppy said still putting on her look.

"Look if it is about me joining the morning song I won't do-" I said but got interrupted.

"It's not about the morning song. Just for today, I was generous to let you live." Poppy said sarcastically. "Anyways what I wanted to talk to you about is something really special."

"What?" I asked her trying to sound interesting.

"Guess what" she asked again which was starting to make me get annoyed.

"Wait wait wait wait wait wait. Let me guess you somehow managed to stumble upon an undiscovered kingdom but you were too scared to go explore it alone so instead you ran back here, spoke to your father about it and he said no to exploring it but you are trying to get me to help you make friends form that kingdom so they would come live in Trollstopia with us."

"Please tell me that you will at least think about this. Please." she pleaded

"Okay because I agree," I said almost starting to regret my choice.

"Wait you do? I thought you were going to say something like 'I have to think about it.' she said while mocking me.

"Well that was me before, but now I've changed. Literally." I said with a stern voice.

"Uhm ok," she replied.

"When do we leave," I asked.

"We pack up today and by dawn tomorrow we leave" she answered.

"Uhm ok," I replied.

Unfortunately at that moment, we realized shadows standing next to us which could only mean.

"Aaaahhhhhh what are you guys doing here?" I asked.

"What do you mean this is normal? We have been doing this for the past...someone reminds me again" Smidge asked.

"2O TiMeS," Guy Diamond said in his auto-tuned voice.

Well, that wasn't creepy to make me wanna stay in my bunker for a week. And even if I did want to, I would have to go with Poppy to go discover this kingdom.

"We are coming and you and no questions asked." Satin and Chenille demanded while saying the words at the same time.

"Ok. The more the merrier. So we all know the plan as you guys were listening to I and Branch's conversation." Poppy said not feeling creeped out about the snack pack.

"Well since it's just 10 am what about we have breakfast, go about our daily life, and then we meet up here at this same spot at midnight," suggested Biggie.

"Wait before you guys all go, my dad did not permit me to come on this trip but as the troll I am I have to go so I need you guys to help me make an excuse so that I can pack up my clothes without having to be asked weird questions and stuff," Poppy said with all the breath she had to breathe in and out a lot.

Everyone thought for a while but before Smidge could speak, Creek randomly shot out of nowhere and said;

"You could just tell your dad that you went with me on a date that would last for days." after he said this he winked at Poppy.

Poppy seemed annoyed then she saw Smidge shoot her hand up.

"Uhm Smidge?" Poppy asked.

"Ooh ooh ooh what about Poppy tells her dad that she has to go on a camping trip with Branch and she won't be back for a few days," Smidge said as she had a wide grin on her face.

Everything went on as normal as the day passed and it was now 11:55 as the snackpack, Branch and Poppy made their way to the spot that they were all meant to meet at. They all finally arrived at midnight.

"Okay everyone did you go through the list of the things I asked you to bring," Poppy asked while she looked through her bag to check too.

"Yes ma'am." We all replied.

"Good, now we are all ready to go," she responded.
