Chapter 22

Sorry for the wait y'all I didn't forget about yall life has been hectic but I'm back.....

Jaxon's POV

Waking up with my wife in my arms I couldn't be more grateful and happy. Turning over to mess with Mariah I heard a notification from our security system. I checked the cameras to see my security at the gate with an unknown man standing there with an envelope in his hand. He showed them a ID and called me to come downstairs. Carefully getting out of bed I throw on some clothes, do a little hygiene care and bathroom break I make my way downstairs. When I get downstairs security and the man are at the door. I asked who the hell are you and why are you at my damn home. He says my full name and says I've been served and hands me the envelope. I snatch it from him and my team carries him away. I walk to my office and sit at my desk. I open the envelope and can't believe the bullshit I'm reading. I'm being sued for child support by the bitch Trina. I called my lawyer and gave him the heads up that I was coming to his office. But not before I get a message from Elijah that the same thing just happened to him.

Elijah's POV

I was at home just getting out the shower when I saw I had a notification that somebody was at my door. I had noticed that the person had a large envelope in his hand. After getting my clothes on I walk downstairs with my gun tucked in my back pocket. I opened the door slowly and the man asked my name and said you've been served. Snatching the envelope and slamming the door in his face, I opened the envelope and couldn't believe what the fuck I was reading. This bitch Trina trying to take me to court for child support. I hit my lawyer up and Jaxon to see what the next step was going to be.

Mariah's POV

Turning over in bed and feeling it empty I got up and walked into the bathroom. Turning on the light and looking in the mirror at my hair everywhere and a bunch of marks on me. I knew me and Jaxon went wild last night but I didn't think it was that wild. I walked towards the shower to turn it on and while it was heating up I used the bathroom. Once I was finished I took all my clothes off and got in the shower which was needed. After about 25 minutes I got out and grabbed my towel. Wrapping it around my body I went to the skin to do my face routine and brushed my teeth. Finishing up I walked to my closet to find something to wear I settled on a cute comfy fit. I knew we had to start packing soon, so I went to look for Jaxon so that we could get started. I got downstairs and walked to his office, when I walked in the look on his face told me all I needed to know that some bullshit has started.

Omniscient POV

Walking in Jaxon's office the vibe was known immediately that something was wrong. Mariah grabbed the papers from Jaxon and to say she was livid was understatement. It was like what is Trina's motives when everybody knew the truth it was time to call in reinforcements on this matter because one things for sure and two things for certain Trina was getting her ass handed to her for all these lies.

Jaxon's POV

Looking at Mariah's face I knew it wasn't good and the she was planning something. I had put a few guys on surveillance to watch Trina's every move because once those babies come it's a wrap. But right now it's time for us to get ready for our honeymoon and we can worry about that later. I messaged Elijah telling him the final plans on when he can fly out. I knew this conversation I have with Mariah was about to go either good or way left.

Mariah's POV

With everything going on I totally forgot I had to pack my clothes. Even though it's my honeymoon this was a much needed vacation. But before I could turn to leave Jaxon stopped me and told me he had something to tell me. By the look on his face I could tell that he was worried about my reaction. But in all honesty it was something I really needed to talk to him about.

Omniscient POV

Once Mariah sat down Jaxon told her how when they leave for their honeymoon that Elijah would be joining them. But before Mariah could say anything Jaxon told her he knew about the card he sent her, and that he knew deep down it was still some feelings. Jaxon knew that it would be weird to most but it had to happen. But what shocked him a little was that Mariah agreed to it. Mariah said to Jaxon when she got that card from him it was a flush of emotions. Mariah knew no matter how hard she tried to ignore she just couldn't. Jaxon and Mariah both knew it needed to happen but they just didn't know what the outcome would be once the honeymoon was over.
