Chapter 14

Mariah's POV

After everything that just went down I just needed a moment to myself. I went my woman cave to fix a drink and to just cool out for a minute.  I had to think to myself why tf would Trina come here to not only lie but start shit. Then to top it off try to say she's not only pregnant by Elijah which I find hard to believe, but also Jaxon which is down right fucking crazy. About 25 minutes later I hear a knock and the door opens up and it's to my surprise Alex.

Alex's POV

While everybody was still trying to come to terms with what happened, I decided to go find Mariah to not only check on her but to let her know what's really going on. I tried to find Jaxon on my way upstairs but didn't see him so I'll tell him later. But I knew after this information is told shit was going to fly off the handle.

Omniscient POV

Alex knocks on the door to Mariah's cave and walks in, he sees the way her facial expressions are and knows that what he's about to tell her will be a weight lifted off her shoulders. After Alex explains everything to Mariah, pissed is not the word that describes her mood right now. She knew that Trina would do something foul but she never imagined how far she would go. Unbeknownst to them Jaxon is standing outside the door with his mom, listening to everything word for word.

Mariah's POV

Shocked, pissed all of the above is what I'm feeling right now to know that Trina would go this far is crazy. I always knew she was jealous of me but I didn't think she would do this. But I know I'm going to get her ass and she's not going to like it. I just keep thinking she won't be pregnant forever but if it's one thing I know about Trina she doesn't like to be embarrassed. So I know when everything comes to light she's going to look stupid for trying to start shit.

Jaxon's POV

I had to go hide out for a minute just to get my mind together on what just happened. Like I can't believe all these lies that were just told and it will be dealt with accordingly. Once I got myself together I walked downstairs to try to find Mariah but I didn't see her. So I figured she was in her room so I walked down and got to the door but before I knocked I heard her and my brother talking. Standing there for what felt like forever listening to everything word for word makes me want to find her cousin and smack the hell out of her. After getting myself together I walked in and sat down so that we could come up with a plan, but I knew another person had to be here too to hear it.

Mariah's POV

With everything that has unfolded I just knew that something has to be done about all of this but I didn't know where to start until Jaxon came in the room and sat down. After talking for a good bit Jaxon pulled me aside and told me that he was going to tell Elijah about the plan. We decided to wait until tomorrow to tell him because right now a bath and relaxation was needed but also I was going to get my answers tomorrow too. It was weighing on my mind about the way me and Elijah ended and I wanted to get his side of the story so that we could all move forward.

Omniscient POV

Jaxon could sense that Mariah was heavily thinking about everything so he went up stairs to run her a nice hot bath and a glass of wine to help her relax. He picked her up and walked her in the bathroom to take everything off sending a few kisses along the way and helped her in the tub.
While she was soaking her thoughts away Jaxon was taking a quick shower in the other part of the bathroom he knew Mariah needed something extra to relax.

Mariah's POV

After soaking and rinsing off I got out the tub and began to dry myself off but before I could finish Jaxon came in took my towel doing it for me but not before planting kisses on my thighs and rubbing my girl. The next thing I knew Jaxon picked me up kissing me roughly walking me to our bed, laying me down and then just started eating my like I was his last meal. When he started the finger and tongue combo I was squirting everywhere and had the one of the biggest orgasm I've ever had. Coming from my high I looked in Jaxon's eyes and knew he was on demon time.
