Today was the day of Hiccup and Y/n's wedding, as much as they hated it they couldn't see each other all morning because of Viking tradition so Y/n and her family spent the night in the spare hut her parents had been staying in. Y/n's parents would have to leave Berk after tonight's celebration since they had been gone from The Hidden World for a while.

Y/n and her mum were in one of the bedroom of the hut they were staying in, getting Y/n ready, when they heard a knock on the door.
"Come in!" Y/n called, excitement evident in her voice.
Astrid and Ruffnut entered, each holding a small box which spurred Y/n's curiosity,
"Y/n we are both so happy for you and Hiccup and it would make us so happy if you were to wear the accessories we have brought," Astrid said in a light tone as she offered her box to Y/n, Y/n looked to the box and then Astrid and smiled a warm smile, she opened the first box to reveal a gorgeous charm bracelet that had a quartz crystal, a crown and a small Y/I (your initial).
"Oh my gods! Thank you Astrid it's beautiful!" Y/n exclaimed as she pulled Astrid in for a hug, taking the other girl by surprise,
"No problem, here let me help you put it on," Astrid said with a kind expression.
"Guys don't forget about mine!" Ruffnut chimed in as she stretched out her arm showing off her box,
"Right sorry, thank you Ruff!" Y/n said as she took the box and opened it, this time revealing a broach type thing that looked like Crystal, it was really intricate and Y/n couldn't help the surprise she felt knowing it came from Ruffnut,
"Aw thank you guys!" She said as she pulled both of them in for a hug this time.

After about an hour of finishing getting ready, it was time for the wedding, Y/n's dad came to get her after having a very 'serious' talk with Hiccup.
"Okay flower, time to go," he said to his daughter as he stared in awe at how lovely she looked
"Dad stop staring you're embarrassing me!" Y/n said with a slight giggle as she tucked a small bit of hair behind her ear,
"Sorry darling, you just look so grown up," he said as he took her arm in his and they walked towards the Great Hall, where the wedding was to be held.
As Y/b entered the doors with her dad by her side, everyone turned to look at the stunning bride, Y/n started to feel a bit uncomfortable with all eyes on her but that all went away when she stared into Hiccup's hypnotising green eyes, everyone else melted away and it was just her and the love of her life. This moment was perfect.

Hiccup turned as his bride walked into the Great Hall and all he could think was how lucky he was to have her, of all the people in the archipelago she chose him, Y/n was so kind, compassionate and of course beautiful, this was 100% the person he wanted to spend the rest of his days with and he loved her more than he loved anyone else on this planet, she was just perfect.
Y/n reached the platform at the back of the great hall,
Breaking Hiccup out of his trance. Gobber started giving his speech since he was officiating the wedding and then Y/n and Hiccup said their vows and proceeded to put the golden rings on each other's fingers, tying the knot.
"You may now kiss the bride!" Gobber cheered, he didn't have to tell him twice! Hiccup picked Y/n up and spun her around and then placed her on the ground again gently and leant in for a passionate kiss. They both wished they could stay in that moment forever.

It was later on in the night and the after party had been going on for a few hours, Y/n's parents had all ready said their goodbyes and were away home which made Y/n slightly sad but she knew it had to happen eventually.
Everyone was on the dance floor and soon enough a song that Hiccup and Y/n knew all too well came on, the realisation hit and Hiccup and Y/n both looked at each other lovingly as they swayed to the beat of the music, getting ready to dance along to they lovely tune, 'For The Dancing And The Dreaming', Hiccup's parents had sang this together when they reunited so it was important to him and it was just as important to Y/n as it was the song her parents first ever danced to and would dance and sing at every given opportunity. Hiccup started singing along as Y/n looked up at him while they still swung to the beat,
I'll swim and sail on savage seas
With ne'er a fear of drowning
And gladly ride the waves of life
If you will marry me
No scorching sun nor freezing cold
Will stop me on my journey
If you will promise me your heart
And love,
(Y/n joined in)
And love me for eternity
My dearest one, my darling dear
Your mighty words astound me
But I've no need for mighty deeds
When I feel your arms around me
(They both dance faster as the tempo sped up and without them even realising, soon enough they were the only ones on the dance floor,)
But I would bring you rings of gold
I'd even sing you poetry
And I would keep you from all harm
If you would stay beside me
I have no use for rings of gold
I care not for your poetry
I only want your hand to hold
I only want you near me
To love and kiss to sweetly hold
For the dancing and the dreaming
Through all life's sorrows and delights
I'll keep your laugh inside me
I'll swim and sail a savage seas
With ne'er a fear of drowning
And gladly ride the waves of life
And you will marry me!
They both stopped as they breathed heavily from dancing they realised everyone else had been watching them, soon enough applause surfaced and everyone was cheering and dancing to an upbeat song that was now playing.
After a while of dancing and drinking, Y/n and Hiccup decided to head home.

They sat in front of the fire for a while just enjoying each other's company and then headed up to bed.
They put on sleep wear and got into bed. Y/n was kind of scared knowing what happened the night of weddings but she knew that she loved Hiccup enough to take this step. She leaned in and kissed him and it was like she felt sparks go through her body as his soft lips touched hers. Hiccup pulled away, leaving Y/n confused.
"Y/n are you sure you're okay with this?" He asked as he moved a bit of her hair behind her ear
"Of course I am," she replied genuinely as she leaned in again.
The rest of the night was a blur.
