Jay looked at the clock in his room. There was about half an hour until the others would get onto the call. He walked over to his desk, slouching back in his chair, and looked up at the ceiling. He sighed for a moment before opening the lid to his computer, humming slightly to himself. He knew the others wouldn't be on yet, but he had nothing else to do but waste his own time.

He decided to try and be productive even though it may mean nothing since it was already the 23rd of December. Jay. typed in amazon and clicked enter, starting to browse what they had casually, not really looking for anything in particular.

Then it hit him. Almost like when you remember that one answer on the test, he had remembered a very important thing.

Zane.

He never forgot about him, but ever since Cole mentioned he was out of stock, he felt like looking wasn't going to do anything. But suddenly, Jay was hit with a wave of determination.

Jay started searching through Amazon, trying to find anything he could that might make Zane pop up on his screen.

Nothing was working.

Jay didn't expect much, seeing as it was almost Christmas, and people were buying anything and everything they could, but he didn't want to give up so easily, either. He continued searching feverishly, trying anything he could to make him appear.

But nothing would work.

Jay groaned in frustration at the screen, realizing that nothing was going to show up. He looked downing his recently viewed items and saw Zane there. He clicked on it, and for the next few moments, he just stared blankly at the simple words that ruined everything.

Out of stock.

Jay couldn't help but feel slightly responsible. A small, creeping doubt lingered inside him as he thought maybe, just maybe, they could have bought Zane if he didn't waste his money. If he has set it aside for what was truly important on that moment.

But that time was long past gone.

Jay clicked off the tab, quitting the screen. He closed his laptop lid and pushed his chair back. He walked over to his bed and laid down, staring up at the ceiling, thinking. He tried not to think about Zane, but it was difficult when he felt so bad for not getting him. He knew it wasn't solely his fault, but he was part of the blame, and it was infuriating.

After a while, Jay looked back up at the clock. It was almost time. He stood up, pulled himself over to his chair, sat down, opened the lid, and joined the call.

"Hey, guys! Wait, Kai did WHAT?!?!"
