"She is not going anywhere!"

Parinidhi groaned in her sleep, she frowned upon hearing some distant voises. Her whole body was aching making her wince and moan with pain. She shut her eyes tightly and she can feel the silence surrounding her.

"Pari"

She opened her eyes but blinked continuously to get a clear view of her surroundings. She first saw the ceiling and immediately a frown plastered on her face upon seeing an unfamiliar room.

The memory of the other night flashes in her mind, making her senses alert. She was about to sit but a warm hand stopped her from moving. She turned her face to see her father with worried yet teary eyes staring at her.

"D-Dad"

She doesn't like it, in fact hate it, to witness her father's distressed face and teary eyes.

"D-Dad I'm Fine"

She spoke in her hoarse voice. She was weak, with her sunken cheeks and pale face. Anyone can see it and sense the tiredness in her tone. Which made the poor man's situation worse. Tears rolled down his cheeks and Parinidhi started to panic in her half conscious state.

Sanjana quickly held her father from behind sensing him breaking down completely while Parinidhi hugged him from the front.

Both Sanjana and Parinidhi knew how worried their father gets if anything happens to them. They both are his whole world. They witnessed how much he struggled, to provide them with a good childhood and good life.

They grew up in a society were daughters were treated as a responsible burden, which the parents have to pass it to her husband once she gets married. But even after having a lot of problems in his hand, he never ever made them feel like a burden.

For him, his daughters are the pressures of prestige which he can proudly carry on his shoulders for his whole life and never get tired.

It was his beliefs and his parenting that made them the women they are today. The ones who never bow their head for anyone.

Parinidhi patted his back whose body was literally shaking with his heart wrenching sobs. Only he knows how he went completely numb when he witnessed his daughter on the floor with blood flowing from her neck.

"Parinidhi"

Parinidhi pulled away from her father upon hearing her name. She turned her head with difficulty towards the entrance of the room to see, Rudransh standing with an emotionless face.

That's when she could feel the sudden tension in the air.

She felt her heart beating vigorously, maybe it was because of her father's breakdown or the blank look on her boyfriend's face. Either way, she was not liking any of the things that going on.
