Two weeks later,

"Well, this place is empty." Annabeth looked around, having reached an empty clearing in the middle of a forest somewhere in Europe. It had taken her a long time to get here, but it had been worth it. Who knew the bike could drive on the ocean? Regardless, Annabeth had a mission to get to. She scanned the clearing, one hand wrapped around her dagger, and one hand on her camp necklace, and where she kept her divine gifts and weapons.

Tick.

Tick.

Annabeth looked around, confused. Where was the sound coming from? She tried to follow the sound, and turned to her bike.

"Oh Hades no." She ducked behind a tree, as the bike exploded in a shower of celestial bronze and Imperial gold. The shockwave nearly knocked her back, and the enhanced strength and speed she had been gifted with were the only reason she had managed to stand still through the explosion. Annabeth sighed. So Leo must now know that someone had invaded his territory.

It was the only explanation of her bike exploding like that. It had been 10 years ago, that Leo had managed to create a device that would connect him to technology around him. A single thought, and everything around him would move and rebuild itself to his whims. It had started out as a helm, then a wristband, and now it was integrated within his blood.

"It's me, Annabeth." Annabeth said aloud, trying to make sure her voice reached the cameras Leo must have placed around the area. "I found the suitcase, which you quite conveniently blew up. Hades be damned Leo, you could ask, you know?" She looked around, and no doors opened up for her. Annabeth sighed.

"Okay fine, I'll do it." Annabeth looked up into the sky. "I swear on the River Styx I'm here solely because I found Percy's message and I am not allied with the Olympians whatsoever."

Thunder shook the skies.

"Well, there you have it Valdez." Annabeth shrugged, sitting on a log. "Open up now."

And...nothing happened.

"Leo... are you there?" Annabeth asked. "Leo?"

No reply.

"Oh for Hades' sake." Annabeth cursed, getting up. "I guess we're doing this the hard way."

Annabeth's veins began to glow gold, as she channeled the super strength given to her by the gods. She raised her foot, and stomped on the ground as hard as she could. The ground split, crumbling inwards underneath her feet, as Annabeth willingly fell into the sinkhole created. Alarms began to sound around her as she crashed into an underground bunker similar to Bunker 9 back at Camp Half Blood. Celestial Bronze wiring and pipes ran across the walls on either side of her, with a variety of inventions sprawled across the tables.

Annabeth rolled as soon as her feet touched the ground, and as expected, lasers struck where she had been mere moments ago. Annabeth stood up, and noticed the three automatons who had their weapons aimed at her. Annabeth stood up, her body glowing with enhanced power. She cracked her neck, ready.

"Aw man, why did you make such a mess?" Leo yawned as he walked over, the automatons freezing in his presence. Leo flicked his wrist, and they returned to where they had been before. Annabeth noticed the absence of bags under his eyes, and the fluffy Charmander pajamas he was wearing. "You could have just entered from the trapdoor, you know?"

"You never opened one, Leo." Annabeth informed him. Leo looked at her, confused. He turned around to a panel in the wall, where there were many buttons.

"Pretty sure I did..." Leo sighed. "Oh Hades that was the button for my fridge."

"10 years of being a technopath and you still get it wrong." Annabeth sighed.
