An hour after Percy left for the past:

"I can't believe he would choose to do something like this," Athena muttered in disbelief. Something like this was just unfathomable. "How did he know what to do?"

"Are we worried about that right now?" Hestia asked her fellow Olympians. "We need to worry about what Percy has already experienced, and how we can fix this situation. Percy is a broken man, he's lost so much of his family." Tears leaked out of her eyes, and no one could look her in the eye.

"Ever since he became a demigod, nearly 20 years ago..." Hestia continued. "Every single year in those last 20 years that man has suffered. He's lost comrades, friends, allies and so much of his mental stability. He's sacrificed everything these last 20 years day after day after day. And this war, this was how we repaid him. He gave everything to us, and what did we do? We took his sense of empathy for mortals away, we took his peace, harmony, and life away. And then, we took his family away too."

"But, what can we do now?" Ares asked. "The punk has already ended the war by going in the past. No one in the past or the future ever stood a chance against him anyways." There was grudging respect in his voice, after all, Percy had achieved the status of the greatest warrior of all time after so many battles. Ares might have had arguments with him in the past, but those had long been patched up.

"Which brings us back to the question, how did he go into the past?" Apollo asked. He simply shook his head in disappointment. He might be the god of knowledge, but time travel? Not even he could solve that. Percy had always been close to him, closer than any of his cousins. Since Percy and Annabeth had started living on Olympus, they had all gotten closer, the second-generation Olympians and Percy and Annabeth.

"Besides himself, only Leo Valdez knows, and he vanished after Percy left," Athena stated. "I tried tracking him, but he's completely gone."

"My son couldn't have created it himself." Hephaestus shook his head. "Building it would not only require immense technical know-how, but magic too, something that my children would not be familiar with."

"What kind of magic are we talking about?" Dionysus asked.

"Spells, incantations, and more." Hephaestus. "We're not only talking about going to the past, we're talking about going in a manner that doesn't affect the future. That would include splitting the timeline, and then binding them to the new timeline created, and branching that timeline out to such an extent that it doesn't cause a collision between the two timelines."

"Wait, what do you mean by "collision" between the two timelines?" Hermes asked.

"When we're splitting a single timeline into two," Athena answered. "The two timelines still share the same space in the dimensional plane. This is not possible, because two timelines within the dimensional space would crash down on each other, wrecking both and causing what is known as an Incursion Event."

"She got that from Multiverse of Madness," Apollo muttered under his breath.

"So, Percy had magical help," Artemis concluded. "But whose?"

"Hecate, " Zeus concluded as everyone looked at him. "From Annabeth's report, it seemed he mentioned having a benefactor, a female benefactor. And that would mean a goddess, and from what we have concluded right now, it has to be a goddess with a vast knowledge of the mystic arts."

"That's astute enough." Poseidon nodded, impressed. "So now our goal is to track down Leo Valdez, and Hecate. Once we find both of them, only then can we find out how he went to the past."

"Indeed." Zeus sighed. "We will continue this once we can obtain results. For now, the meeting adjourned."
