Back at the base,

"That was eventful." Percy said, as all of them gathered around the table. "Do we have everyone here?"

"Clovis is missing." Lou pointed out. "He's asleep in his room. I could call him here-"

"Leave him be." Annabeth ordered, shaking her head. "He's done a lot tonight, let him have his rest. We'll fill him in tomorrow."

"Speaking of which, we have two months till the power flux goes away, what do we do?" Clarisse asked.

"She does have a point." Jason added. "Once our power flux ends, we go after Ilvermorny, and then Hogwarts, correct?"

"Correct." Percy nodded in agreement. "But, Hermes and Aphrodite have brought something to my attention."

"Hecate has betrayed us." Hermes said. "She figured out what our real intentions were with the collection of souls, and she's gone to the Olympians, even Hades. I pulled out the past versions of Bianca and Nico just before he went ballistic on me."

"Shit." Jake cursed. "That's not good news man."

"There's more." Aphrodite continued for Hermes. "With Hecate gone, most of the power we spent so long on giving her has been wasted. So we'll need a lot more souls than what we originally planned."

"But, can't two Olympians compensate for that energy loss?" Malcolm asked. Hermes shook his head.

"Neither of us holds the magical affinity that Hecate did, nor are we bound to the spells performed to be able to properly supply the source." He answered.

"It's like using wind to charge a lightbulb without a windmill." Annabeth surmised. "Lou, can you modify the spells to accommodate Hermes and Aphrodite's energies?"

"I could, but the maximum I can manage would be 50% efficiency at the most." Lou answered.

"How many more souls do we need now?" Nico asked. Percy sighed.

"At least, 500,000 more."

"We can make that happen." Clarisse said. "Let's go get our massacre on. That isn't going to be too hard."

"But wait." Arianna said. "What's stopping Hecate from simply taking her spells back? Or attacking us?"

"She and I made an agreement before I told her everything." Percy said. "We made it on Chaos' name, it's a guaranteed vow stronger than the Styx. She won't take her spells back or harm us in any manner. That's why she went to the Olympians in the first place."

"But, what do we do now?" Connor asked.

"What's the game plan boss?" Travis added.

"We got a prophecy from the Oracle." Percy answered. "We fulfill it, that's the plan."

"What's the prophecy?" Annabeth inquired.

A journey through eternal darkness you must tend,

To seek what is found at time's glorious end,

Bonds of enemies and family are yet to mend,

And you shall be betrayed by one who calls you a friend.

The final choice is to fail or be replaced,

The destiny of Olympus is to be razed not saved.

"So Tartarus is where you go first." Annabeth deduced. "The House of Night."

"But what happens over there?" Malcolm asked. "From what our understanding was, that you'll have to eventually kill Kronos and use his powers to seek what is found at the end of time. How does going to Tartarus help us with that?"
