Today is the day of the trial. Daisy is sitting with her parents on the first row. On Daisy's left side, Sir William and the other knights are sitting next to her. On the row behind her, the Morgans are sitting. She turned to face William. He saw the anxiety on her face. "Don't fret, Daisy. Everything will be fine." He quietly said to her.
"What if it doesn't turn out that way?" She asked. "I can't lose Arthur."
"You won't lose him." William reassured her. "That man will fight anyone who tries to keep you two apart."
The judge walked into the court. Everyone stood up. A door near the judge's desk opened. Three prison guards stepped out and two additional guards gripped Arthur's arms. His hands are tied and so were his legs. He walked very slowly.
Arthur lifted his head and he saw Daisy standing across from him. His face lit up at the sight. Her parents looked at Arthur with disapproving looks. Daisy smiled at him, but he could tell she is nervous.
The guards directed Arthur to sit on the chair. They stood on either side of him. The judge ordered everyone to take their seats. "Right. Let's begin." Judge Kensington said. "King Arthur, the defendant, is accused of kidnapping Daisy Turner." Arthur let out a bitter laugh. "Is this accusation amusing to you?" The judge asked him.
"It doesn't amuse me. This accusation is complete rubbish. Why would I kidnap a woman and force myself on her? And even go as far as to keep her against her will at the castle like a slave." Arthur answered.
"Well, King Arthur, that is what we want to figure out today." Judge Kensington said. "Let's begin by hearing from Ms.Turner's parents. Mr.Turner, let's start with you." The judge pointed to the chair for Thomas to sit on. "Tell us about Daisy. What is she like? What kind of a personality does she have?"
"Daisy is a hard worker. She doesn't complain. She's ambitious. She is curious about the world. She's always reading a book. She has a bit of a sarcastic personality. Also, she can be rebellious. Her rebellious side revealed itself about a week ago before her upcoming marriage to Oliver Morgan. She wrote a note on the night she ran away from us. In the note she wrote that she's not coming back and that we shouldn't look for her. Daisy made it very clear that she won't be coming back."
