Neuvillette was merely walking around in Fontaine, taking a nice peaceful walk by himself as he observed his surroundings. He spotted an otter doing a backstroke in the water. He smiled fondly at it as he proceeded his walk.
"Squeak!"
"Hm?"
When a small little squeak broke the silence, he turned to the scorufe and his eyes widen a little to find that same otter swimming torwards him, and climbing out of the water as it approached him in a curious manner.
Glancing around, he didn't see anyone nearby or within his sight in the plaza. The hydro judge waited for a while to see if one person would eventually walk here. Nothing. It was just him.
"Squeak!"
And his little surprised visitor. Smiling, he looked down to find an otter, coming out of the water, gently patting his shoes with its little pink paws. He chuckled at it fondly, kneeling down to stroke its back. Gently, he picked it up into his arms as the small aquatic mammal looked at him curiously.
The leisurely otter pawed at his nose and face in a playful manner as the hydro dragon smiled and chuckled, finding the feeling of its soft paws and paw pads ticklish against his skin.
The otter snuggled against his chest, purring affectionately as he gladly ran his hands down its silky white fur, still damp from coming out of the water. He sat down near the water, scratching its little ears as he smiled at it. He wouldn't admit it, but Neuvillette has a secret fondess for leisurely otters.
It started moving in his arms, so he lifted up to face it. The otter waved its paws at him like it was asking him to inch closer. He did that, and it started nuzzling his face affectionately. Neuvillette gladly returned the nuzzle with their noses as the small animal cooed and chirp, enjoying the attention.
"Hee hee!"
Neuvillette gasped when he heard what sounded like a girlish giggle, and he turned around to see who had caught him in this moment. There wasn't anyone in sight, but being a hydro dragon, his senses were sharper than a normal human, so he knew for a fact he just heard someone giggling.
Scanning the environment carefully, he did find something out of the place. A large lock of golden wavy hair sticking out from the corner of a white wall. His eyes widen, recognizing who it belong to. With the otter chirping at him, he turned back to it while offering an apologetic smile. "Forgive me. But I'm afraid I will have to end our little visit. I hope to see you soon, though. Au revoir" he told it, letting it slide back in the water
Neuvillette stood up, and leaving as he sighed in worry about whoever was gonna blabber about this. He knew who it was. He just hoped they wouldn't give him away on his weakness.
Meanwhile...
"Oh! That was so cuuuute!"
Aether and Paimon looked at each other with confusion at hearing Navia squeal so excitedly in her bedroom. They were supposed to be doing a task together, but it seemed that the she preoccupied with some thoughts. "Maybe we should come back here later. Navia seems to be thinking about something and might not come out of her room for awhile" Paimon suggested as the traveler nodded in agreement.
"Oh who knew that the judge himself had that side in him! Oh I just hope he didn't see me!" Navia exclaimed din her bedroom, unable to awe at what she just saw. She just hoped that he didn't spot her and would confront her later about it.
