My brother

"IM HERE" JUN-WOO YELLED.

"In here!" Nam-Ra shouted. Jun-Woo walked through her apartment and to her bedroom. Nam-Ra stood in front of a mirror. She wore a white dress with black silk that wrapped around her shoulders and tied into bow.

She wore black heels and silver rings lined her fingers. "New dress?" he asked. "Jun-Woo" she grinned running to jump in his arms. Jun-Woo held her close relishing in the feeling of a hug.

For many many years Nam-Ra had been the only person to hug him. She did a lot of things he wished he would have gotten from his family. Her black cherry and vanilla perfume wafted through his nose.

"I've missed you so much" She said into his shoulder. his arms tightened around her waist. "you have no idea how much i missed you back in the states baby sister" he said.

She pushed him away "not a baby and you're only two months older than me oppa" she grumbled. Jun-Woo laughed. Jun-Woo had always seen Nam-Ra as his sister.

from the time in middle school she'd bring him food to being at every ceremony he held for his company. She was there for him during countless fights with his parents and older brother.

To nam-ra Jun-Woo was her big brother. He'd dance with her at school dances when she didn't have a date. Nursed her back to health when she was sick and even walked home with no jacket because he was afraid she would get sick.

Both were very aware that what they had was platonic, pure sibling love. "Tie this for me?" Jun-Woo asked holding up his tie. She sighed "you'll have to learn how to tie a tie soon Jun-Woo we are 26".

"i would but you make it even" He said sending her a cheeky smile. She rolled her eyes and worked quickly to fix his tie. When she was done she went back to her mirror to put her earrings in.

She could see Jun-Woo inspecting her room looking for anything that wasn't there last time. "is this him?" Jun-Woo asked looking at a picture of her and Si-oh yesterday.

"yes" she nodded. "Please tell me you aren't this dumb" He sighed. "What?" she frowned turning around. "This is anton. they look the exact same and i've only met the guy 3 times" Jun-Woo deadpanned.

"If he was anton don't you think he would have told me" She crossed her arms. "He didn't tell you he was leaving for korea" Jun-Woo pointed out. "he was going to" she replied.

-- AT THE LEE HOME-

"I thought mom said family dinner" Hee-Sik said staring down his sister in front of him. "Shut up hee-Sik " Nam-Ra rolled her eyes.

"She didn't say you could bring ur fake brother" he spat. "He's more of my brother than you are" Nam ra said making Jun-Woo stick his tongue out at Hee-Sik.

Nam-ra tapped his shoulder and shook her head. Hee-Sik glared at the good looking guy next to his sister. He was tall with slicked back hair, a white button down and black slacks. a simple black tie hung around his neck.

"i'm nam-ra's big brother. not you" Hee-Sik rolled his eyes. "if you want to be acknowledged as my brother then act like it." Nam-Ra sipped her wine.

"settle down you two. Jun-Woo, i am happy to see you" Mrs.Lee sat down at the head of the table. She looked so much like Hee-Sik but she was slim and had the same beauty mark above her right eye like nam ra.

"im happy to be back Mrs.Lee" Jun-woo waved at the older woman. She smiled at him from before looking at her son. "Are you dating anyone?".

"no mom i'm busy with work" He answered. Mrs.Lee nodded before turning toward her daughter. "I'm not gonna ask if you found someone new. still stuck on that boy" Mrs.Lee shook her head with a sigh.

"boy? don't tell me it's Tae-oh" Hee-sik sighed. Jun-Woo bursted out laughing. "Nam-ra stuck on Tae-oh? never". "She's talking about Anton." Mrs.Lee took a sip of her wine.

Nam-Ra's eyes fell onto the steak on her plate. Her mother loved American meals so tonight her mother cooked steak and potatoes.

"I see you still haven't found him" Hee-Sik said. Nam-Ra's head snapped up "i see you're still a unloveable asshole" Nam-Ra spat.

"And what are you? We both know anton didn't love you." Hee-Sik said. "there is a reason mom doesn't love you" she spat.

"She loved you because you're a bastard" Hee-Sik spat. "children" Yeon-jin sighed. "That must sting. still unloved as a legitimate child" Nam ra ignored her mother. "you ruined my parents relationship" Hee-sik pointed a finger at his sister. "it was already ruined the day you were born" nam ra snapped.

Yeon-Jin slammed her hands on the table. "That's enough!" she shouted. Nam ra stood up "thanks for the dinner mom" she said and walked out. "Thank you" Jun-Woo bowed his head toward Yeon-Jin before leaning after nam ra.

He found her beside her car, Hot tears ran down her face as she wept. Her palm against the door to keep herself from crumbling to the floor. "Nam-ra" he said softly wrapping a arm around her.

She leaned into his body sobbing. "maybe hee-sik is right. Anton didn't love me the way i loved him" she sobbed weakly. "Hee-sik is a asshole. Anton had to have loved you".

Anger burned through her body as she pushed herself off of him "Then why didn't he stay with me!" She shouted. "Let's get you home" Jun-Woo said softly to which she just nodded.
