"THIS WAY MISS"
Her mothers maid led her through the home to the living room. "Mom i'm here! And i brought Dalgona!" Nam-ra called her feet padding against the floor.
"Nam-ra" Her mother grinned upon seeing her daughter. Nam ra sat beside her mother letting the maid take the bag into the kitchen. "Nam-ra honey when are you gonna find a man" her mother asked typing away at her computer.
"Mother" Nam-ra sighed. "don't 'mother' me child, you can't be stuck on that boy forever" Yeon-jin looked away from her computer. "I only want what's best for you. You'll eventually find him but maybe not in the way you'd like" she touched Nam-ra's hand.
"what does that mean?" Nam-ra's eyebrows furrowed. "well honey he could be married or have children. we don't know" Yeon-Jin shrugged.
"Listen. i just want you to find the man for you" Yeon Jin said. "Maybe he was. Or maybe Si-oh is" she said lowly. "Si-Oh? Ryu Si-oh?" her mother asked.
"We've gotten close" Nam-Ra tried to hide the smile on her face. "He is quite handsome" Yeon-Jin wiggled her eyebrows. "Let anton go. see what it could be with Si-oh" Yeon Jin said.
Nam-Ra scooted closer to her mother and rested her head on the woman's shoulder. Her phone buzzed and a smile lit her face.
Noble Si-Oh
it looks beautiful

Think so?
Noble Si-Oh
i know so
after your award ceremony
tomorrow i have a business trip
Nam-Ra
No more showing up at my house :(
Si-oh smiled to himself as he texted the girl back.

"Mr.Ryu" vincent strolled in. The smile
instantly being replaced by his normal poker. "Yes?" Si-oh put his phone down. "Boss isn't happy with you and the girl"
A vanilla envelope was placed on the desk and Vincent quickly left. Si-oh opened it. Tons of photos of the two at the cafe, at lunch and him dropping her off at work.
Don't let this girl mess up the plan.
was scribbled on a note. Si-oh pulled out his phone and explained to his boss that it would help the business. Of course the boss was skeptical.
"Ms.Lee has the money, power and reputation to make this sky high" Si-oh said. "She's a higher up in a fashion company owned by her mother and when her mother retires in the next month she will be chairwoman".
He had no intentions of manipulating her this way but if it kept the two alive and together he'd do it. "Don't let her distract you" the call ended.
Si-oh sighed and went over to his shelf. The cherry printed mug sat there beautifully. Si-oh decided to go home and upon entering he was greeted with the millions of pictures he had of her and him.
Most from high school, four or five taken from his time with her now. They were framed and sat on different surfaces on his home. Book shelves, tv stand, coffee table, bed side table.
He smiled at his favorite picture. The first time either of them had been to a carnival. The two had matching kitty ears and her face had whiskers on them.
Her arms were wrapped around his neck and his around her waist. She was laughing.
"say cheese!" the photographer called out. Si-oh hoisted the girl up by her waist, her legs lifting.
Their cheeks were pressed together as strings of
laugher left the couple.
"That looks great. I can print it out for you" the man said. "yes please" she grinned letting go of si-oh and her feet back on the ground.
Si-oh's hands didn't leave her waist as they waited for the man. "you are so pretty" he mumbled. "i'm pretty?" she asked. He nodded and swooped down to kiss her.
Nam-ra touched her lips as she stared at a picture of the couple kissing. She could remember how open he was to kissing her. In between classes he'd give her a light peck in a empty hallway.
walking her home after photography club or sports he'd give her longer kisses. He wanted to kiss her all the time as a greeting, goodbye and everything in between.
"I hate you" she spoke to the picture. "But i love you so much" she sighed and sat down on her bed.
