She peaked outside her window and sure enough Si-oh's car was parked on the street. She sent back a okay and slipped on her shoes.

Si-oh heard the door to her building open. She jogged toward his car in black nike pants and a long sleeve top. She opened the car and got in. "Hi" she smiled. "Hey" he smiled back at her.

"What happened?" she asked him. "I just wanted to see you," a blush filled her cheeks. "Can i take you somewhere?" he asked her. She nodded and he went to buckle his seatbelt.

She recognized the carnival. "i can't go in here" She muttered as he turned the car off. "Why not?" he frowned. "i haven't been to one in 8 years" she said.

"why so long?" he turned toward her. "When i was in high school, i fell in love with a boy. his name was anton" she started.

i loved him so much. It was just a year but with him it felt like our entire lives. He was the first person to ever take me to one while we were in the states. It was one of the last times i ever saw him.

"do you still love him?" Si-oh asked. "I don't think you can ever stop loving someone like that. it won't matter, he never loved me the way i loved him" she shook her head.

Si-oh lightly touched her face. "He loved you. He still does, He loved you more than you could ever know and going away is the one and only thing he regrets" Si-oh's eyes became glossy.

"you sound so sure" she said. his hands dropped from her face. "What's there not to love nam-ra? i really like you already so just imagine a year from now" he said.

She fully expected him to confess he was anton. "There is a thin line between love and hate. My feelings walk that thin line for him" Her head leaned on the head rest.

"How about i take you somewhere else" he offered. "please" she begged him. He nodded and started the car once more. "I'm sorry Si-oh. you told me you liked me and i admitted to you i love the bastard that left me" she said.

"you don't need to apologize. I plan to eventually be yours" he said stopping at a red light. Shock covered her face. "Are my affections too much for you?" he questioned.

She shook her head, mouth open. "That's good" he smirked and drove off. She watched the street lights shine off his gorgeous face. Red, white and green. He still looked so good, one hand on the steering wheel.

his black hoodie and sweats fit him perfectly. Perhaps Si-oh would be the one for her. He pulled up to the beach. He cracked the windows to let the soft sounds of the waves hit the shore.

"Thank you for coming with me" Si-oh said. Nam-ra turned to look at him but his gaze was frozen on the waves. "i don't think i've felt like this before you" he confessed.

"like what?" she asked. "my childhood wasn't good if you could even call it a childhood" he said. "Neglectful. Fighting for everything even basic needs. you make it all warm" he told her.

His eyes now shifted onto hers. "Si-oh" she mumbled. His face inched toward her about to swoop down of a kiss. Her eyes fluttered close anticipating the feeling of his lips on hers.

She felt his thumb brush over his lips. "I won't kiss you now. you aren't ready yet and i understand" he whispered to her. Her eyes opened "but i want you to" she said.

He leaned down and kissed the corner of her mouth. The feeling lingered even as he pulled away. "Si-Oh, come with me" she said. Pain stuck his heart.

18 year old Nam-ra stood crying. "Come with me! Please!" She begged him. "I can't" he said. "Please Anton" she cried. He pulled her into a hug. "Lee Caroline. i'll return to you" he said. He pulled away wiping her tears.

"Still so pretty" he told her. Instead of words tears kept flowing. He kissed her lips softly, the taste of her lip balm and tears mixed into it. He pulled away and got on the train. He stood
there waving at her until the doors closed. "I love you" was the last thing he heard as he broke down crying beside the door.

"Earth to Si-Oh!" Nam-Ra called. She was standing outside the car. Si-oh climbed out "what are you doing?" he asked. He closed his car door and approached her.

She reached forward and touched his shoulder. "tag" a smirk played on her lips. She ran off "you're it!" she called behind her. Si-oh smiled before running after her.

She craned her neck to see how close he was to tagging her. Giggles leaving her mouth as she tried to avoid being tagged. Si-Oh grabbed her causing them to tumble to the ground.

Silence filled them as they plopped into the soft sand. Nam-ra pushed her hair out of her face. The couple stared at each other before bursting into laughter. Nam-ra cuddled closer into him as her laughs died down.
