Jayden reached his house late at night, he was busy all the time in the meetings and promotion of his company with the promotion of his new debut of boy group. He was also busy with the Police interrogations with his lawyer related to the defame trial of the enemy brothers. He went inside his mansion which was dark because all the lights were already turned off. He knew that his butler Mr. Wang has been waiting for him all this time, he called out for him when he entered the main grand hall of his mansion.
"You came! You're late today! I was waiting for you." Jayden tuned around to the owner of the voice and just then the lights turned on, brightening the grand hall.
"You're still awake mom? Where is Mr. Wang?" Jayden asked to his mother Kyla who was waiting for him all this time.
"I was waiting for you. I told Wang to rest, he was busy all day. Freshen up yourself, I will set the table for you." Kyla asked him to do and went to the kitchen without hearing anything else. It was her command for him.
"Did you eat something, Mom?" Jayden went to the kitchen behind her asked from the kitchen entrance. His mother just shook her head in denial and smiled and again started doing her work.
"Then please bring the food to your room, we'll eat there together, until then, let me take a look to Dad." Jayden said to her and left the area and straight went to the his parent's room.
"Hey dad! How are you? It's been a long day today? Did Uncle Wang give you medicines, hmm?" He was talking to his father holding his hand, who was lying on his bed without any movement of his body but eyes showing concern for his son and crying.
"Uncle Wang is the most trusted person I have you and for this house to protect. He even sometimes scold me too but he's the only person who can do that after you and mom." He started talking about Wand wand laughing to ease his father's heart.
"I'm sure you've watched the news, you don't have to worry about me dad, you know I'm strong, I'm not the old Jayden anymore. I know now how to defeat and crush my enemies." He was looking at his father's eyes and talking to him with the utmost soft voice. He kissed on his father's hand and wipes out his tears.
"It's been so long for you to be like this, bug trust me dad, I'm searching for the person who made you like this and I promise when I will find him, I will give that person a brutal death someone could ever imagine". He was talking to his father looking at him with concern but his voice was showing the rage and hate for that unknown person who did the accident and made his father paralyzed.
"You haven't changes yet Jay, now first go and wash your hands, I'm setting the food on the table till then." Kyla opened the door of the room and noticed the father-son duo, spending their time. She smiled and walked inside to set the dining table kept on the other side of the room.
She eyed Jayden and he obeyed. He went to the washroom and washed his hand, came back and took the chair opposite to his mother, who was waiting for him. They both started eating and Kyla looked at his son with the fond smile on her face, Jayden noticed it looked back at her.
"What happen mom?" Jayden asked while eating food.
"You're looking tired, you're dealing with a lot these days." Kyla said to him and slide her hand to hold her son's hand.
"I'm always like this mom, don't worry about me." Jayden took a hold of his mother hand and said with the smile expression.
"I know I'm not your real mother, but you're my son and I want to see you happy. You should start seeing someone." Kyla just spoke something unexpected which gave frown on Jayden's face.
"You're my mom, for always. And I'm not interested in anyone." Jayden just with a straight face looking at his mother and again started eating.
"You don't have to live like this son. You should find someone who can love you and support you with her love and with whom you can share everything because I know you will never share your problems with me or you father just because you don't wanna make us worry. Please son." Kyla never stopped talking and tried to make her son understand.
"I've no problems and I'm powerful enough to solve all the problems of my own outside this house. And if i's about finding someone to love then I don't wanna do this, let the love find me and till then let me focus on my work." Jayden stopped eating, he looked at his mother and talked to her and with his final words, he stood up from the chair and went towards the door.
"Wait Jay." Kyla spoke from behind and he stopped on his tracks.
"Promise me son, if love finds you, you will not push yourself away from it. You'll accept it and you fight for it to stay with you." His mother took steps towards hi, put her hand on his shoulder and spoke to him. He silently listened to her then walked outside of his parent's room.
'I hope you'll find the love soon, my dear Jay.'
Kyla said to herself with a hope in her heart.
'Love, my foot. I will never love someone, my father bear so much because of this love. My father is in this condition because of his love for my traitor mother. Dad and I went through the hell life because of this love. My mom Kyla also has to feel that hell and loneliness everyday just because of this damn love for my father. Love is hopeless. Love ruin the lives.'
Jayden repeated the words in his mind when he came to his room, then when he went to take a shower and when he went to his bed to sleep.
