What test? And what did he mean with the border realm? Border to where? With too many questions in my head I stood up again and tried to pass the invisible glass one more time and this time it worked. With my step I suddenly found myself in a place very different to where we were. I turned my head to see if the others followed me and released a breath when I saw all of them behind me. We had enough problems as we had we could afford to split.

"Holy shit what is this place?" With Polaris's amazed voice I snapped out of my thoughts and started looking around. Holy shit, indeed. The sight in front of me was very different from down city. And I mean very different. There was not a sky illusion anymore as it was on the way but there were so many lights around that no one longed for the sun. There were also little lights on the ground on top of us and it felt like we weren't underground but just at night time. Buildings around us were the highest buildings I ever saw. They raised all the way up the ground on top of us. I had no doubt they would reach the sky if we weren't underground. The buildings looked so luxurious and beautiful I wondered if this realm also had a place like down city where ordinary people lived. As the way to here, there were also many trees and plants.

I startled when a couple of humans walked past us laughing. Why were those humans so carefree? Aren't they supposed to be afraid of the faeries? And why is no one paying attention to us? It is clear that we are strangers from our looks to our clothes.

"Where are all the faeries?" Everyone turned around to look at Onyx with his words. Confused, I cast another look at the city and saw that those humans were not the only ones and there were humans everywhere. I couldn't see a faerie.

"A better question is why are there so many humans in this realm?" I asked. All the pocket realms were faerie realms. There were almost only faeries in the pockets because people imprisoned them in the pockets. So why were there so many humans here? Something lit in my brain and turned towards everyone with excitement. "What if I took us out. Out of the pockets I mean. What if we are in human lands?" I could see that everyone's eyes shone with my idea. If I managed to take us out of the pockets it would mean freedom to faeries. We could open the other pocket door from this side and free the faeries.

"We are not in human lands" with Raiden's monotone voice, everyone's face fell. As I was about to ask him how he did know it I remembered the ground on top of us. We wouldn't have been underground if we were in human lands. My face fell with everyone but I turned around again to the sound of heavy steps. A corpulent human was walking towards us with a big smile in his mouth. He looked pretty creepy with that smile. His aura was very contrary to this beautiful pocket.

"The boy is right, you guys are not in human lands, we are still in pockets. Don't you remember what I said before you guys entered Guernri? This is the border realm in pockets. This is where protectors of all the pocket realms live. We were chosen by our ancestors to protect the border between human lands and pockets and we are here to ensure no faeries step foot again on the human lands." Before any of us could say anything he signaled something to people back at him and they started to walk toward us with angry faces.

"Since our job is to stop faeries from escaping from pockets, we can't allow the faeries in you guys' group to go free here. We are obligated to take the faeries with us." I cast a panicked glance at Jai but he didn't look panicked. He even raised his hands towards the guards walking towards us and pushed Onyx and Xara with him. I frowned with confusion and took a step to them but Eleni stoppet me with a hard look.

"Wait, wait, wait, you can't just decide to take my friends with you just because they are faeries. We didn't even mean to come here in the first place, stop tying my friends and just let us go" I don't care if they are protectors or whatever they are but I am definitely not about to let Jai and the others be imprisoned right after we escaped from another prison. I thought that they would help us when I heard they were humans but turns out they were here to keep the faeries underground. What kind of joke was that?
