   June opened her eyes waking up feeling the tapping of Joey.

"Whaaat?" June said in her sleepy voice.

"Your mom called. She said you have to go to school or you gettin grounded. She also brought you a bag with some clothes and shit. So she told me to drop you off and ian tryna have her mad at me and shit. " Joey said .

"Fuck." June said as she just got up and went into the bathroom bringing the bag with her. 

After about an hour June was ready. She was wearing some skinny jeans and a hoodie with some converse sneakers.

She walked out with Joey to his car and got in.

Joey and June approached the school and got out of the car. June grabbed her schedule from inside her pocket of her hoodie and read it to herself.

"What class you got ?" Joey asked her.

"Spanish." She responded

"Shit me too. you gone like that class, ain't you almost fluent in that shit ?"
 
June's mom was Latina so she did know a lot of Spanish.

"Fuck off. " June said laughing and slapping Joey's arm.

They got into the building and started walking looking for their class.

As they were walking June made eye contact with Malaki but quickly looked away.

They got into their class and June and Joey sat at the back of the class.

The teacher was a short white man who talked so much.

June sort of liked this class because not so many people were in it . There were only like 14 students in it and majority of them seemed like nerds.

That's when she saw Malaki walk in and her stomach started to turn. She avoided even looking in his direction and acted like he wasn't there for the rest of the class time.

Hours went by and June went to her other classes. It was now lunchtime and the bell rang.

June was looking around for Joey but she saw no trace of him. She began to walk around and search for him more and that's when she and Malaki bumped into each other. "Watch where the fuck you goin. " Malaki said in a rude way. His voice was deep ass fuck.

June got really nervous and just glanced at him and didn't say anything.  She then walked out the cafeteria and went outside looking for Joey. She was looking for some minutes and then that's when she saw him.

He was sitting on the benches with Vanessa. It seemed like they were in a deep ass conversation. They were smiling and laughing. This made June's blood boil and she could feel herself getting jealous.

June walked away and went back to the cafeteria and sat on her own. She pulled her phone out and scrolled on Instagram and watched some reels.

That's when she remembered that she had forgotten to text Jenny.  She then shot her a quick text telling her that she had been busy yesterday and forgotten to text her. She also asked if she was at school today.

Jenny replied in about two minutes saying that she was here.

June looked up seeing Jenny sit next to her.

"Heyy." Jen said smiling.

"Hey." June said back.

"What you doing here alone? Don't you have any friends down here ?" Jen asked.

"I have one friend. But he busy talking to one of his hoes rn." June said.

"What's his name? If you don't mind me asking?" Jen asked .

"Joey." June replied.

"Ohhh I think I know him.  The lightskinned tall guy ?" Jen asked

"Yea. He's my bestfriend."

"Oh, well forget about him. I can be your friend for now . " Jen said smiling

"Yea forget his ass " June replied laughing. She was really starting to like Jen. Jen was different. She didn't seem like the judgemental type at all and she was really nice.

It was last period and Jen was just waiting for the block to be over with. She kept looking at the time and counting 60 seconds. 

Joey texted June telling her that she was gonna have to ride the bus because something came up. June was a little upset but she understood.

When the bell rang June just got on the bus and went and sat next to Jen.

"So how old are you ?" Jen just randomly asked June.

"I just turned 18 two months ago." June responded

"Oh you're a baby. I'm 19. Been 19 for a lil minute." Jen said.

"Girl that's just a year. Not a big deal. You say that like it's 10 years or something."  June said cracking up and Jen started to join the laughter . They seriously connected to one another and June could tell they would make good friends.

June arrived home and took a long nap.

June woke up around 8:45 pm.  She heard her phone vibrating. She saw a text from Joey saying that he was outside.  She got dressed and went outside and got in the car.

"So why you couldn't drop me off today ?" She asked

"Sum came up... I thought I told you." He replied

June could tell something was weird but she just let it go because she wasn't his girl and he didn't owe her that much of an explanation.

She then put her airpods in and listened to what you heard by Brent Faiyaz.

Joey looked over at her but she didn't move nor look back.

After about 30 minutes Joey pulled up to the mcdonalds drive through. Joey tapped her. "June what you want to eat ? It's on me." He said.

"I'm good. " She said .

"June you can't be serious right now. " He said .

"Are you starving yourself ?" He said looking at June

"No.. I'm not... I'm just not hungry bruh damn."

Joey just shook his head and ordered her the same thing he ordered which was some 6 piece nuggets and a small fry and a medium caramel frappe.

"Go ahead and eat that since you claim you ain't starving yourself." He said

June went ahead and started eating her food. "See nigga."

"Mmm... whatever." He said pulling off and driving towards his apartment.

They pulled up to the apartment around 35 minutes later.

Once they got in the apartment June went straight onto Joey's couch.

"You love that couch, don't you?" Joey asked.

"Sure do." she replied.

Joey left the room and June went on her phone and was texting Jen. She had her airpods in and was blasting some music.

A few minutes later June went into Joey's room and turned the knob to his bathroom. She didn't realize that he was in there due to the loud ass music she had playing

When she looked up she saw Joey in the shower. They locked eyes and then her eyes slowly went down to his dick which was big as fuck. She quickly looked away feeling guilty.

"Sorry!" She said feeling embarassed slamming the door and running out hoping he didn't notice she looked.
