The next day when June arrived to school she walked into her first period class.
She saw Malaki sitting in his usual seat so she decided to sit somewhere else because she was truly just over the whole situation.
She honestly got over the situation pretty quickly. Although she still had feelings for Malaki, she was tired of the disrespect and the abuse and being cheated on.
Besides, she still had Joey although he was still with Vanessa she knew that he was still gonna be there for her regardless what they were to each other.
"Ms. Davis? Are you paying attention?" Mr. Jacob asked as he looked over at June.
June snapped out of her day dream as she made eye contact with Mr. Davis.
"Uhh yea, I'm paying attention sir." June replied.
"Why didn't you answer my question?" He asked.
"What was the question again sir?" June asked.
"Are we gonna divide or multiply first in this equation?" He asked.
"Uhhh...Multiply?" June asked.
"Correct." Mr. Jacobs replied as he went on with the lesson.

When lunch came around, June sat with Jen and Erica as always.
"So how has things been going with Malaki?" Erica asked as she looked at June.
"We broke up actually." June responded.
"What?" Jen asked.
"Yea.." June replied.
"Why?" Erica asked.
"We just had too many differences I guess." June replied.
"Ohh okay." Erica responded.
"He wasn't good for you anyway. You can do much better." Jen said.
"Yea, definitely can do better." Erica agreed.
"Yea, I'm just focusing on school right now and bettering myself... if a relationship comes then it comes.. but I'm not looking for one right now." June said.
"Yea that's a smart way of thinking." Jen replied.
"Well I'm about to go to the restroom, I'll be back." June said as she stood up, walking out the cafeteria, and headed towards the restrooms.
As she was walking she bumped into a hard chest.
"Sorry." June mumbled out.
She looked up at met eyes with Joey.
"You good." Joey responded.
"Joey watch where you going bruh." June said as she walked into the girls restroom slamming the door behind herself.
She finished her business and washed her hands then walked back out where she saw Joey standing against the vending machine.
She began to walk past him when he grabbed her arm and pulled him to her.
"You got a test? Or any other important assignments?" Joey asked.
"Nah, why?" June asked.
"Let's check out." Joey responded.
"Ummm okay, I guess." June replied.
June was happy to check out because she was tired of seeing Malaki around in school after all that went down between the two of them.
June and Joey checked out and made it to his car.
Joey opened the door for June and she got in.
Joey went to the drivers side and hopped in the car as well and sped off.
