Dosti hi pyar hai

Chapter 22

Vaish and Jaan were sitting in their car, going to college when suddenly Vaish's phone ringed, it was Sid's call. She picked up the call immediately.

Vaish: Bol Sid.

Sid from the other side of the phone sobbed and said: Aap... Aap jaldi yaha aao.

Vaish got worried about why was Sid crying.

Vaish: Sab theek toh hai na, Sid? Kaha h tu?

Sid: College k paas wale park k aage. Dada-

Vaish heard another sob escaping his mouth. She panicked hearing him cry. She got extremely worried after Sid said 'Dada'.

Vaish: Sid mai abhi aati hoon. Tu ro mat.

Vaish hung up the call and told the driver to change the destination.

Jaan: Di hum woh park mein kyu ja rhe hai? Waha kya hai?

Vaish: Sid ka call aaya tha. Woh kisi baat pe ro rha tha. Jaldi jana hoga waha pe.

When they reached the park they saw Abhi lying on the sidewalk and blood coming out from his forehead. The area was deserted as it was early morning and it was not a residential area. No one was there to help the Nigam brothers.

Vaish: Sid, kya hua Abhi ko?

Sid: Dada ka accident ho gya.

She crouched beside Abhi and tears filled her eyes immediately.

Vaish: Kai-i-se hua... Kaise hua yeh sab?

Sid: Dada bike se gir gye.

Vaish held Abhi's hand and started nagging him.

Vaish: Kitni baar kaha h bike dhang se chalaya kr. Tujhe pta bhi h kitne log teri chinta mein rehte h?

Tears were now rolling down one by one from her eyes.

Vaish: Uth na Abhi. Mai tujhe aise nhi dekh paungi. Mai tujhse bohot pyaar krti hoon.

Suddenly he opened his eyes widely and sat straight. She was so confused as how could this happen. She didn't understand what was going on.

Abhi: Tune pehle kyu bola? Pehle mai bolne wala tha.

Suddenly it striked her if Abhi fell from bike then why is the bike parked perfectly at a distance, why didn't it fall too? Why would Sid call HER instead of the ambulance? And the blood on Abhi's forehead was ketchup.

Vaish: Yeh sab maz-zaak tha??... Abhi I'll kill you! I hate you both for this.

She started hitting him on his arm angrily. She was so irritated and annoyed. Then she saw all their friends coming out from their hiding, behind the bushes.  All the friends were chuckling at her sudden confession and Abhi's reaction. She was so embarrassed. She wanted the ground to eat her alive.

Abhi: Mai do minute mein bolne hi wala tha... I love you Vaish!

She got up from beside him and started walking away from there. Abhi immediately got up too to chase her.

Abhi: Vaish baat toh sun. I love you.

Vaish: But I hate you. Itna ganda koi mazaak krta h? Tujhe pata bhi hai mai kitni worried thi? Meri dar se jaan nikal rhi thi.

Abhi: Sorry!

She quickened her pace and sat in the car, telling the driver to drive towards the college. And the rest of the gang was laughing at Abhi.

Sid chuckled and said: Maine bola tha yeh plan kaam nhi krega.

Abhi replied annoyed: Shut up!

Pandit: Abhi yeh sab side mein rakh. Yeh soch k use manana kaise hai?
