Chap 19- Aryan's emotions

Aryan stood there , he knew he has no chance with her. Thats why he made himself this playboy sort of personality. She had made clear years ago that she would never marry an idiot and dumb like him. He didnt take it to offense when she said it but it made him so cold that he pushed the feeling of love and locked it somewhere in his heart. With Sona, he was just being a regular boyfriend, he never even got intimate with her. Yes he had kissed her and that was it. He could never go further , his heart and mind wouldnt let him. Their kisses always felt more intimate from Sona side , from Aryan it was just a response.

He said yes because he didnt want to break Sona heart. And what hurt him the most was she told him to say yes. He looked at her with a hope that she would blink no but he had expected too much. He closed his eyes

Flashback to 16 year old

They all were playing playing truth and dare with group of their classmates at Aryan's home. He had kept just small fun get together. The teenage years were crazy and fun, Imlie had come late she had taken drinks before coming. She and girl name Kavita for fun and ofcourse it was illegal , had few shots. Kavita was rich girl and she had acess to her dad bar. Long story short they were bit tipsy. But noone noticed, not even Aryan when they arrived.

One girl said " We will play this only if people are ready to do the dares given and if they chose truth they have to be truthful. Otherwise its no fun" she made a face.

Imlie clapped her hands in excitment agreeing "Yes you can count me Vedika that i will say truth and do all dares. " Slowly everybody agreed to play it honestly.

Everybody were perfoming well, Imlie had dared where she had to go neighbor house and knock and run back here . She did it, everybody was hooting and laughing.

It was Imlie turn again , she chose truth. It was Vedika who asked her a question "Imlie tell is truthfully, you and Aryan are best friends like inseprable. Did you not ever had feelings? Would ever get in relationship with him?Marry him??I mean look at him, he is cute. "

Imlie was emotionless, she controlled herself. She knows the reality, he never looked at her that way she was sure. She smirked , a fatso like her and cutie like him i dont think so she thought to herself. She pretended and said giggling " Him? Never ever. First of all i need a academically prone guy. He is my best friend . But i can never date him, he is an idiot of my life. Marry? We are just 16 yaar. This is just khayali pulaav. I can never marry my idiot. He is not my type let just say. " Imlie just kept on saying, Aryan was getting pissed but he kept his cool. Valentine day was in 2 weeks and he was actually planning to ask her to be his gf.
He had liked her ever since he saw her in heart frock, that feeling changed to love as they grew up. Somehwere he felt Imlie has same feelings but today the way she spoke it just made everything clear.

After everybody left, Aryan came to her and asked " am i that bad Dil? Sabke samne what not you said" He looked sad. Imlie being tipsy was blind to everything right now.

"Yaar dont feel bad. I said truth. Look at you and me" she said and kept quiet. Aryan took it in wrong way, he thought that she is comparing him her. She being smart and he being an idiot.
Whereas in Imlie heart, it was she being a fat nothing and Aryan was everything a girl wanted.

"Hm" after that day he just blocked the feeling of love.
On valentine day though, he gifted himself a tatoo. He knew he could never love someone else. It was a tatoo of Imlie with Dil around it. It was pretty simple but he wanted on him.

He has a dark side, that nobody knows. He is obsessed with Imlie, and always was. Obsession grew when some boys would try to go near Imlie , he would take them aside and beat them up, threaten them. He never let a guy approached her. An obsession he couldn't grow out of. He always kept a facade when it came to Imlie .

Flashback ends.

He punched his hand. He said yes, he didnt know what to do. He cannot marry Sona. He sat on his bed, head in his hands and went into deep thought.

Both are idiots, both have feelings but because of misunderstanding and not having proper communication regarding feelings they both never confessed. Lets see what happens , Will Aryan Obsession that he hid for so many years will come out ? Or the marriage will actually happen?
