~Fifty Seven~

There was a girl,
with hair like gold,
and eyes like a forest path
who always fell hard and too quickly,
and daydreamed of all that could be,
and wondered all the possibilities.
A girl who lived in a world of fantasy,
A world in which all hoped could be reality.
But was not.
She stayed inside,
Rain falling against the window,
As she wandered the pathways to find her way to the magic and chaos,
Of words on a page.

This girl though,
She was like no other.
Yes she stayed inside to escape,
But she liked to party, and BE.
She liked to laugh,
thinking herself the funniest of all.
She had a style unknown to all including herself,
yet it showed so much of herself.
She had eyes that shielded no emotion,
But also had a gaze sharper than a blade.
She was a girl with no need for a knight.

But at the end of the day,
she's the same girl who wants to live in the worlds she reads,
and think about the one of her dreams.
