Naruto Uzumaki kaku

a Christmas episode?

[M: The very first christmas chapter i've ever written. Probably best I chose this story huh?]

The Rinne festival! This universe is equivalent to christmas. Right this second we see Naruto and Matthew walking around the decorated village. It's still weird to Matthew how similar this is to Christmas too.

You're probably wondering who won the battle between Matthew and the hokage huh? Well me too so don’t be more pissed than me reader! I'm his employee and my boss won’t tell me shit!

Anyway my rant about my boss aside. Naruto is running between stalls while Matthew is following behind amused by his kids actions. They both have a mask on the sides of their heads. Naruto has a fox mask while Matthew has a reindeer-esk mask. Matthew has already gotten Naruto true gifts at home in a blood seal so Naruto couldn’t get it. And trust him he damn well tried.

Weirdly despite this being only their second rinne festival it was like it was their fist all over again. The last one naruto didn’t even want to go into the village out of a bit of fear. Matthew just put him on his shoulders and carried him around. So this was the first one they were truly experiencing together.

The pure joy in the village's chakra was really all Matthew really needed but still the lights and novelties were fun. Matthew is even planning a big party where he invited the clan heads which surprisingly they all accepted. Even got the haruno family coming even with the mothers first thoughts on naruto.

She was starting to become a bitch but you can’t be in small naruto presence without becoming corrupted and becoming a better person. The father was a good drinking partner however but Matthew for the life of him can’t like sake. He’ll drink it but it definitely doesn’t compete with his true love of vodka Which they surprisingly had here in this universe.

Matthew had no idea the time period equivalent to his world but hey at least there's good booze.

As the kaku’s approach the center of the village right in front of the hokage building was a giant ass tree covered in lights. Naruto wasn't able to see for a moment before Matthew picked him up and sat him on his shoulders. And the two stood there watching the flashy tree with the village.

Now cutting to a restaurant we see the kaku’s finalizing things with some last minute bought decorations. The restaurant did most of the work already thankfully and made it look amazing. Plus the deer and fox mini statues fit along with the frosty forest theme Matthew was asking for. ‘Gotta remember to put in a bonus for this place’ Matthew thought as they waited for the guest.

It didn’t take long however as naruto rushed up and hugged “ayame-nee!” the girl hugs naruto “heya naruto did you enjoy the festival?” the two of them talked as matthew went up to teuchi and gave him a side hug and a hefty pat on the back leading him inside which nearly made teuchi drop a present he’s holding

“hehe finally decided to shut the shop early and take a break huh?” teuchi chuckles at the dirty blonde’s words “well your subtle hints persuaded me” that got matthew to snort “subtle my ass i nearly had to drag you out your shop one time when you went 2 months without breaks”

Soon enough more guests begin showing up, the first surprisingly being aburame’s “neheh buggies! Great to see ya!” The adults went to talk with Matthew and teuchi. Shino was about to just follow his parents if it wasn’t for naruto literally dragging him to play a card game with them.

After them more and more came in including the hiruzen and his family. groups of friends were formed however before it even dared become a formal event Matthew began to play music from a … scroll? How- oh. It seems Matthew used inoichi chakra scroll along with his own memories to somehow play some christmas music.

None of the clans minded however were confused on the words. And it livened up the event plus the kids liked it however hinata seemed to be following behind naruto in everything he’s doing. Once the food and drinks were brought out the place really began to feel like a party. However it began to get a bit corrupted as Matthew brought out poker to the adults.

Accusations were brought out and Matthew learned not to gamble with a nara but his luck helped a lot of them also got buzzed. it all turned the night livelier.

Soon the special thing was happening. The secret santa. Nearly everyone brought gifts for it and the exchanging began. I won't go over everyone but the nara luck continued as shikamaru somehow got the one matthew was planning for them, chess. The hokage actually got the gage gift Matthew got. When he opened it a ton of glitter covered him. Matthew got a red ant farm which he found cool. Nruto got this giant brown scarf that fully covered him like a mummy.

All in all Mathew considers the party a success and mostly everyone went happy. And finally Naruto and Matthew went home after helping the staff clean up before returning home themselves.

Once they did, Naruto went through his nightly routine forgetting about the gift. Matthew went and got the scroll containing it. Naruto was actually in bed when Matthew came in holding the scroll. Matthew smiled as Naruto's eyes grew wide as dinner plates. Matthew sat at the edge of the bed and removed the blood seal on the scroll as he handed it to naruto. Surprising despite his excitement he slowly opened the scroll and was greeted with a song to begin with, the nutcracker. Soon as the melody continued his gifts began to pour out littering his bed. First was obviously the clothes to the slow melody. But as the song picked up different toys came out alive somehow dancing about to the song.

It took Matthew forever to make this but he can confidently say he brought the biggest Christmas and non Christmas thing he could think of to this world. The joy in Naruto's eyes was all Matthew needed to know he did good. At the finish klang of symbols the biggest part of the gifts popped out as the toy’s lost the life they had and fell skewed across naruto bed.

There was a coat like Matthew's. A black trench coat however with a dark orange trim with the uzumaki symbol on the back along with the kaku symbol under it, which was like the head of a brush covered in ink.

The next was a black pull up mask exactly like the one Matthew had around his neck.

Next was two pictures one of his birth parents and one of him and matthew

Lastly was surprising a metal chain with a sharp spike at the end.

“The coat might be too big right now but I've seen how you like mine and got this made. The mask is special, however it’s like the message seal but it will allow us to speak to each other even if we are on the other side of the world.”

Naruto hugged the clothes and pictures close to his chest. He finally got to see what his mother looked like! “The last thing however uh i went diving one night in the archives of the village. Apparently the uzumaki could use chains and the like so i figured you might like thi- woah!”

Naruto didn’t let Matthew finish. The gifts were too much and he just wanted to hug his dad. Which Matthew greatly returned. The two stayed like that. Just hugging, even soon falling asleep.

while they slept, we went inside the seal to see that even here it was filled with multi-colored lights. But as kurama was going to bed a poof was heard and a gift was sitting in front of him taking the fox by surprise. It had a tag on it that said “don’t think i forgot about cha foxy”

Opening it he saw little statues of the other tailed beast along with ten giant books for him to read and finally a gigantic purple scarf. The fox simply laughed at his first ever gift but smiled. He was glad he trusted his gut about the new contract bearer.
