Ah tsueday. It was a better day than monday especially considering Matthew and the hyugas last night. Which matthew is still currently dealing with since he’s now being question by both hiruzen and hiashi
“As i've told you dude i was in my shop before i felt my flying raijin get activated. In honesty i forgot my kid gave your’s it.'' Matthew calmly said. For some reason hiashi is insanely paranoid right now. He didn’t believe matthew explanation at first and now the man even got the hokage to personally ask matthew
The hokage nodded “Matthew is obviously telling the truth hiashi. Even then till this moment I don't think you two have even interacted. He has no motive, "Matthew smiled before saying “also if i wanted to why the hell would i even let all this happen.” ‘Though I guess if I wanted to, I could just put a flying raijin somewhere far away and just, like, take her but wtf would I do with a kid? I already got one and that’s tough enough!’
The man that looked blind nodded and let out a breath of relief. “Alright. Then” the man surprisingly bowed to Matthew." I'd like to thank you for saving my daughter. I’d fear what would happen if we were late or lost track of him.”
However Matthew waved it off. “All I did was intrude on the situation which I've now become invested with. So for my own curiosity sake, who in the Sam hill was that dude I stopped” being questioned for a while has just left a big bunch of questions for matthew. His mind is threatening to shut itself off if he doesn’t get answers… or that might be the sleep he’s needing since he hasn’t slept for 3 days with the sword was working on along with manning the shop with his only employee being a part time kid.
“I actually have the answer for that” and in came inoichi. “Me and the boys finished getting the plan from the kumogakure head ninja.”
“Wait what- the fucking breeze heads are involed in this? Like no shit?” while Matthew knew the relations between the villages was, pun intended, on the rocks but for just blatant open kidnapping? He figured the raikage was above that.
“Afraid so matthew. It seemed the plan was while writing up a peace treaty they were going to kidnap the heiress then uh “reinstate” the bloodline in kumogakure” while each person knew what he meant when inoichi ment, it still made each of the men’s blood boil. To fake a peace treaty just to steal one bloodline? ‘A whole new level of both messed up and stupidity’ was matthew thought.
“There is some light to this however.” which again made each of them raise an eyebrow while Matthew wondered while all three of their movements were in sync. “It seemed that it wasn’t actually the raikage who planned this but one of their elders who played the head ninja quite the sum to kidnap hinata”
That actually got Matthew to breathe a bit easier. So he wasn’t wrong about the raikage. Mainly because that was his next pick in case kono- actually wait he couldn’t do that now ‘since i have naruto i wouldn’t be able to take 10 steps in there before they find out who naruto first dad is.
As Matthew came to this realization the hokage spoke “then if so we need to inform the raikage at once. A traitor is an muce them, and we need this peace treaty now more than ever.”
As the older man said he suddenly looked towards Matthew who had just began secretly picking his nose. He quickly wiped it on his monkey onesie and stood at attention. “Matthew. How do you feel about your first mission as a konoha shinobi.”
“... wait wha-”

“I mean I get the idea but seriously? Send the guy with barely 2 legs?”
As we see Matthew is flying on a cloud in his normal gear. The cloud being Matthew's nimbus jutsu. Right this second he’s been turned into an errand boy. Since Matthew had the means of leaving quickly and being a slight outsider to both villages. Even with his reputation it’s the best idea to send him to discuss with the raikage while also proving his ninja worth to konoha.
