Melody's POV Brooklyn, New York
"Baby!" Jennifer yelled opening the front door swiftly while walking into the house. I jumped dropping the cup I held in my hand on my toe, "shit!" I cried as tears swelled up in my eyes. Jennifer walked towards me with a concerned look.
"You ok ma?" She asked as my toe started bleeding, I shook my head rapidly while pointing towards my toe, as tears began falling down my face. Jennifer looked up at me with a small grin lifting me onto the counter and getting the first aid kit from the bathroom.
"This has alcohol in it so it might burn." She warned before taking a cotton ball and rubbing it against my skin, "Aw!" I yelled kicking my foot away from the cotton material.
"My fault." She laughed before placing a band-aid on my toe and kissing it. "You feel better now you big baby." She teased pecking my cheeks. I nodded a pout plastered onto my face still as I extended my arms out for Jen to carry me.
She smiled softly and picked me up making sure her hands were right below my butt, I laid my head on her chest as she walked into the bedroom laying me down on the bed softly before taking her shoes off and lying next to me.
After finding a comfortable position we talked about our days and laid in bed together.
