Brooklyn, New York☆ ★ ☆ Miah betrays her sister
Bianca's trust forever☆ ★ ☆The sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm orange glow in the living room where Miah sat cross-legged on the carpet, her sketchbook open, pencil dancing across the pages. The sound of laughter echoed from the kitchen, where her sister Bianca and her girlfriend, Jenn Carter, were preparing dinner. Miah glanced up, her heart skipping a beat as she caught sight of Jenn's vibrant energy.
"Hey, Miah! Want to help us with the salad?" Bianca called, her voice bright and inviting.
"Sure!" Miah replied, setting her sketchbook aside and getting up. As she walked into the kitchen, she felt a flutter in her stomach, a feeling she couldn't quite place.
"Hey Miah your mad quiet I ain't even know you were here," Jenn said, her voice smooth and confident, a stark contrast to Miah's shy demeanor.
"That happens a lot," Miah said, grabbing a knife and beginning to chop the cucumbers. "So, what's on the menu tonight?"
"Just some pasta and salad. I hope you like it!" Jenn smiled, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. "I've got a new recipe I'm trying out."
Miah's heart raced as she watched Jenn move around the kitchen, her graceful movements reminding Miah of the rhythm of a song. "I'm sure it'll be great," she replied, trying to keep her voice steady.
As they worked together, Miah found herself drawn to Jenn's charisma. They exchanged stories about their favorite music, and Miah learned that Jenn had a passion for creating beats and lyrics that told stories.
"You should come to one of my shows sometime," Jenn suggested, her eyes meeting Miah's. "I'd love to see you in the crowd, cheering me on."
"Really? I'd love to!" Miah said, surprised by her own enthusiasm. "I've never been to a concert before."
"You're in for a treat," Jenn said with a wink. "The energy is insane! And who knows, maybe I could even get you backstage."
Miah felt a blush creeping up her cheeks. "That would be amazing!"
As the night unfolded, Miah found herself laughing and chatting with Jenn, feeling a connection that was unexpected yet undeniable. Later, as they sat around the dinner table, Miah couldn't help but steal glances at Jenn, who animatedly recounted a funny story from her latest tour.
"Honestly, I never thought I'd find someone who could handle my crazy lifestyle," Jenn said, casting a glance at Bianca. "But you, B, you make it all worth it."
Bianca smiled, her eyes filled with love. "And you make me feel like I can conquer the world."
Miah felt a pang of longing as she watched their interaction, realizing that her feelings for Jenn were growing deeper. That night, as she lay in bed, her thoughts were consumed by the older girls laughter and the way her heart raced every time their eyes met.
Days turned into weeks, and Miah found herself spending more time with Jenn and Bianca. They would go to Amusement Parks, Water Parks, or hang out at the park, and with each passing moment, Miah's admiration for Jenn blossomed into something more.
One evening, while they were watching a movie, Miah felt bold. "Jenn, can I ask you something?"
"Sure, what's up?" Jenn replied, her attention shifting to Miah.
"What's it like being a rapper? Like, do you ever get nervous before a performance?"
Jenn chuckled, her eyes sparkling. "All the time. But once I'm on stage, it's like a rush. I just channel all my emotions into the music."
Miah nodded, her heart racing. "You really inspire me, you know? Your passion... it's infectious."
"Thanks, Miah. That means a lot coming from you," Jenn said sincerely, her gaze lingering on Miah a moment longer than usual.
In that moment, Miah felt a connection that was electric, and she couldn't help but wonder if Jenn felt it too.
One day, after a lively afternoon at the park, Miah found herself walking alongside Jenn. They were sharing earbuds, listening to some new beats Jenn had been working on.
"You know, I used to be really shy," Miah confessed, glancing at Jenn. "But you've helped me come out of my shell."
Jenn smiled softly, her expression warm. "I'm glad I could help. You've got a beautiful spark in you, Miah. Never hide it."
Miah felt her heart swell. "I think you're amazing, Jenn—like, not just as a rapper, but as a person. You're... special."
Jenn stopped walking, turning to face Miah, her expression serious yet gentle. "You're special too, Miah. You've got this light that draws people in."
Miah's breath caught in her throat as their eyes locked. She felt a rush of courage and whispered, "I think I'm starting to fall for you."
Jenn's eyes widened, and for a moment, the world around them faded away. "Miah, I—"
Before she could finish, Miah took a step closer, her heart racing. "I know it's complicated, but I can't help how I feel."
Jenn hesitated, looking back toward the park, then back at Miah. "You're Bianca's sister... I couldn't do that to her."
"I don't want to come between you and Bianca. I just... I can't ignore this."
Jenn sighed, running a hand through her hair. "Let's take it slow. I care about Bianca, but I can't deny the connection we have. We'll figure this out together."
Miah felt a wave of relief wash over her. "Okay. Together."
As they stood there, the sun setting behind them, Miah knew this was just the beginning of an uncharted journey filled with music, love, and the thrill of new possibilities.
