☆★In which, A single call goes a long way ★☆
☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★ Omniscient Brooklyn, New York
Kailonni sat quietly in her bedroom patiently waiting for a special someone to give her a call. You see, while Kailonni and her family were on a cruise she met a girl named Jennifer and her group of friends KR, Tata, Jah Woo, and Dee. She ended up becoming close friends with them all and they all got to know each other better while on the cruise.
They had gotten so close to the point they all couldn't help, but get her number as she was a genuinely good person to be around which would shock many as their fans knew how five New York natives were.
Although Kailonni and Jenn seemed to have a special relationship compared to the rest of the group, which resulted in rather interesting intimate moments between the two females. Though their love story was cut short when the cruise ended and both females went their separate ways, Kailonni couldn't help but wonder what the other woman had been up to as they rarely ever called due to Jenn 'busy schedules' and the many 'Important Calls' she always had to take whenever they spoke on the phone.
"Am I wasting my time..." Kailonni spoke to no one in particular but still waited for an answer that would never come. Kailonni played around on her phone for a few minutes before shutting it off and lying down on her bed closing her eyes. She lay like that until a sudden vibration started making the bed shake slightly. Kailonni turned to her side and stared at the contact name.
'Jenn Carter🥷🏾💜'
Kailonni's eyes widened slightly a little excitement in her face as he quickly accepted the call.
"Hello?" Kailonni spoke as soon as the call connected.
"This Kailonni right?" Jenn questioned.
"Yeah. This is Jennifer right?" Kailonni spoke returning the question.
Jenn chuckled over the question. "Chill outwit the government name, ma," Jenn said finally turning her camera on revealing the fine dread head and her pearly white teeth.
"My bad." Kailonni giggled her heart fluttered slowly as he continued staring at the New Yorker.
"Whatchu been up to ma?" Jenn asked adjusting the camera so Kailonni could get a full view of the older. "Nothing much," Kailonni replied playing with her fingers as she tends to do when nervous.
"Why are you acting all shy fo?" She asked laughing. Kailonni's smile grew as she pondered her response.
"I'm not." She finally answered. Jenn nodded her head before another voice came into the frame.
"Yoooo is that Kailonni the gzzzz." A familiar voice called out from beyond the camera. Kailonni smiled as she finally recognized the voice.
"Hey, Kr." She laughed awaiting the other male's face to pop up into the frame. "I miss you mh you needa come to visit us or we needa come ta you." He said, his New York accent coming out a little.
"For sure I miss y'all." Kailonni agreed fixing her hair.
"Where ya at mh?" Kr asked playing with one of his braids. Kailonni hesitated to answer to the older boy, but she trusted them.
"New York." She replied
"Haha, and you was tryna say she was from the hills," Jenn exclaimed as Kr rolled his eyes. "I ain't neva said dat," Kr replied.
After talking to Kr and Jenn, sadly they had to go as they were going to be late for a flight to South Carolina.
"Ight ma I'll call you later?" Jenn spoke as she, Kr, and Tata got inside a black vehicle making their way towards the airport. Kailonni nodded slowly a hint of sadness in her face and action.
"Why do you look so sad ma," Jenn spoke her eyebrows arched slightly, Kailonni simply smiled. "Yeah I'm good I'll talk to you later," Kailonni spoke hanging up the phone before Jenn could say anything.
Kailonni then sat in her room her mind running wild thinking about the actions she just took.
"Fucking idiot!" Kailonni exclaimed running her hand over her face, an annoyed expression creeping onto her face. She let out a sigh of frustration and sat in her room for the rest of the day.
☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★ Jenn's POV A Week Later Brooklyn, New York
"Yo Kr," I called out from the bottom of the stairs my focus on my phone.
"Yurr." He responded finally appearing at the top of the steps.
"I'm goin to the deli I'll be back," I explained getting ready to walk out of the apartment. "Get me sum chips!" Kr yelled from upstairs. I laughed and shook my head as I made my way to the deli.
As I walked down the street I started thinking about Kailonni and how I hadn't called her in a minute or even bothered to visit her seeing as she lives in New York as well. My thoughts quickly ended as I bumped into someone. "Yo watch where you're goin' dickhea-" I began, but stopped abruptly as I stared at the smaller female.
"Kailonni?" I mutter staring at her more intently
