Jenn's POV Toms River, New Jersey
"Jennifer I thought I told you to get me the pink Nike dunks, not the blue ones! Are you slow or something do you have a problem with your hearing or are you just retarted?" Sadie barked shoving her finger in my face. "My bad," I said staring at my phone. In an instant, Sadie snatched my phone out of my hand and threw it onto the floor breaking it instantly.
"What the hell!" I shouted standing up from the sofa. "Maybe you should've got me the right color shoes." she spat rolling her eyes, she walked out of the living swaying her hips as she walked.
"Fucking brat," I muttered crouching down to get my now-broken iPhone 14. I groaned staring at the cracked screen 'This is the fourth one this week, I can't keep spending money like this.' I thought standing up and placing the broken phone on the living room table.
Kr's House⏭
"She broke your phone again," Kyle said emphasizing 'Again' I nodded my head as Kyle handed me a bottled water. "I'm not gonna lie to you just cause you're my friend, but I don't think she's right for you. You guys. Well, she is toxic and kinda abusive." Kyle said rolling a blunt.
"I knew she was toxic, I just didn't wanna leave her," I reply my eyes filled with sadness. "Can't you see Jenn? She's mentally draining you, she made you think everything was great in the beginning, but look at you guys now." Kyle explained handing me the blunt. I thought about his words letting them sink in, he's right. Ever since I met Sadie life has been a little more draining than usual.
