Nobody's POV Helena, Montana
The relationship between Kim and Jennifer is older than time itself, but it was also complicated, their whole life it seemed the two were connected, to their dismay.
It all started at Sunny Vale preschool, the two children were playing with their individual friends, until they both laid eyes on the same toy, a Talking Elmo toy that sat gloriously beside a giant stuffed bear.
Both children locked eyes with each other and rushed over to the toy grabbing it at the same time and pulling either side of it. "I saw it first gimme it!" Tiny Kim squeaked her eyes still locked onto the other females.
"No! I did!" Jennifer squealed pulling the toy harder, the two played tug a war with the toy until both arms of the two were split from the body a loud silence filled the room. Next thing you know the loud sobs of Kim could be heard as she clung onto Elmo's red furry arm that leaked cotton.
"Oh my goodness! What happened?" Mrs. Lashawn asked walking over to the two with a concerned expression, "She took my toy!" Both cried pointing to each other with tears in their eyes, Mrs. Lashawn giggled at the two before comforting them both.
"Next time you guys see a toy that another kid has or wants, ask them politely if whenever they're done you can play with it." Mrs. Lashawn said rubbing both their backs.
Both the girls hesitated before nodding their heads slowly. "Can you two hug it out?" Mrs. Lashawn asked softly.
"No!" They both shouted glaring at each other.

That day at Preschool set what the two called a permanent curse among the two to always be in the same place at the same time.
The next time they met was in elementary school, Jennifer was a tomboy who also dressed manly while Kim dressed like the stereotypical girl. Both lived two completely different lives but were always around each other and were also involved with each other.
Since Jennifer was a part of the 'boys' the common rivalry between girls and boys the two had even more of a reason to dislike one another, Jennifer would always make something up about Kim, even though it wasn't always true. She'd always bother, take things from, and attempt to physically and emotionally attack the girl, Kim however was never phased by Jennifer's antics if anything they pushed her to do the same things she did.
After elementary school, both attended the same high school where the rivalry seemed to grow. Both had changed mentally and physically since elementary, Jennifer was basically a boy and Kim, well she was just her.
You'd think that the two would mature since becoming high schoolers, but that was the last thing that happened to the two. The pair began arguing over any and everything as soon as they saw each other their days were ruined.
They even went as far as sending death threats to each other which ended with the both of them suspended for a month. Although that didn't stop the two, anytime they'd see each other in the street they'd argue in front of everybody.
Now here's where their rivalry grew into straight nonsense. Kim went to college and Jennifer pursued a career in the rap industry where she successfully blew up. You'd think because Jennifer was also traveling for shows and was never in one state that it'd be physically impossible for the two to meet again, but faith just had different plans for them.
Kim had become a hair braider and had her own business in LA, one day a person whom she'd never want to see again showed up for a re-twist. Jennifer.
They both glared at each other the whole time both not daring to speak. "Long time no see huh?" Jennifer smirked breaking the silence between the two. "Please, just be quiet." Kim sighed finishing the last twist.
Jennifer shrugged and nodded.
"You should come to my show tonight mamas." Jenn grinned standing up from her chair and turning to Kim. "And why would I do that?" Kim asked her hands on her hips.
"You don't have to if youn want to." Jenn shrugged going to the front to pay.

That night Kim had made her mind and was committed to it. "I ain't going." She spat firmly staring at her two best friends Lia and Jade.
"But we got the tickets for freee." Jade dragged out, "When are we gonna get another chance like this?" Lia added.
Kim sighed and the three girls were off to the one and only Jenn Carter concert.
When the girls got there Kim couldn't resist, but to have a little fun while there. She danced to the signs even though she had no knowledge of the words, while Jade and Lia sung their hearts out.
