"𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲?" Snow asked as curiosity coursed through his veins. In the past three months, he had seen her around the Capitol often and wanted to know more as the days passed.
The girl hesitated for a moment before speaking. "𝗖𝗮...

"It's Calista look!" A little girl exclaimed full of joy, when Calista entered her district with a bag that seemed to have food. District twelve was one of the poorest districts around. After a big war had happened many years ago, when Calista was only seven years old, poverty tortured all the twelve districts since then.
"What do I have for you Christy?" She said with a smile as she dug her hand into the bag and took out two apples "Your favorites." She passed them to the little Christy and without a second thought she took a bite and her small face lit up. She- and everyone there - probably hadn't eaten for a week or more.
Everything around was dead, and the whole atmosphere made it even worse. How could someone light up the atmosphere a little when they spent most of their days with no food or even water? Very little had survived and more and more lost their lives as the days passed.
"You are the best!" The little girl said and hugged her tightly. She was only five years old and Calista's only friend. Christy passed the second apple to her little brother who was next to her waiting to eat. This situation was painful, and Calista's heart broke every time she looked at the people there and realized how sick they were and how they couldn't live their lives. She couldn't either. She was in the same condition, but her young spirit, as she was only eighteen, gave her hope.
"And I have something," Christy looked at her, her green eyes lighting with enthusiasm, when Calista put her hand inside the bag again but she never took it out. "But before I give it to you, I'll tell a secret."
"What secret?"
"Come here." She sat on a rock and put on one leg Christy and on the other her little brother Lucas, Lucas didn't know many words only the basic ones but he was really good at listening and understanding what others said. So he could easily understand what Calista was about to say. "Today I visited a more wealthy place."
"We-ea-el-" Lucas tried to pronounce the word as it was new to him and he didn't know what it meant.
"Wealthy Lucas it means with more things that we have here, more food, clothes, everything we don't have." he nodded "And I took from a bench no one was some food we have never tried and clothes for our people."
The Capitol in contrast with the districts was as rich as it was before the war, but never offered help to anyone. Its image was exactly the opposite of the districts. In the Capitol, there were trees, with fresh, healthy green leaves. Flowers on the ground ready to bloom. The atmosphere was bright and the air was so clear. Houses were in their best condition around, and the people who wandered around, seemed happy, like nothing was missing from them.
Calista wondered how it was to leave like that. Having everything. And then she wondered how someone could have everything and ask for more. Because as she wandered in the Capitol, covered, she saw many kids, crying and depending on new things from their parents. These people have everything we don't, why do they ask for more? They had money for clothes, houses, food, water, why didn't they appreciate it?
