"Did you bring me the pills I asked you for?" Elena shouted from Grandma'am's room as it was time for her morning medication. Elena had been following a pretty well-organized plan for Coriolanus' grandmother that was a lot more efficient than the previous one, as a result in doing better every morning.

Days passed so quickly and years even faster, in a way that made you feel so old and young at the same time. It was inconceivable how you've reached an age that seemed miles away and thought you had all the time to enter it. The spirit a young person possessed had nothing to do with the one a kid did, but also with the morality and warmth a person who had reached the age of eighty felt, when they had completed a stage of their life, full of unforgettable moments, and enough to keep them alive.

"I am trying to find a glass mom!" Calista replied in the same tone, "I have no idea where they are." She had been trying for minutes to find a glass and fill it with water so Grandma'am could take her pills. These last few days, she had woken up from bed, cooked, and taken care of her favorite flowers. Day by day, it seemed like she found the strength to stand on her feet and take care of her family again.

At every baby step she took, she had first of all her grandchildren by her side and then Elena and Calista with their medical methods and advice that helped her return slowly to where she once was. There is nothing more that can make an old person happy than having her close ones supporting them and assuring them that everything will be okay, even when it won't.

"First drawer on your left," Coriolanus remarked as he entered the kitchen, fixing the buttons of the collar of his blue shirt. He probably had heard Calista calling that she couldn't figure out where they kept their dishes and glasses as he was climbing down the stairs to the kitchen.

Calista immediately opened the drawer and relief found her body once she saw all the cups and dishes gathered together. "God, thank you so much. I had been looking for them I don't know for how long." Coriolans laughed quietly as he started dressing a slice of bread with marmalade. Tigris had bought it a few days ago from the market, and both teenagers had loved it.

Coriolanus, after slipping into his red coat, which he took from the coat stand next to the door, he swung his bag on his shoulder, took the slice of bread quickly, and opened the door to leave, taking a bite on his way. "Are you leaving?" Calista stopped in front of the opened door, before making her way to grandmother's room.

"Yes, I am extremely late," Coriolanus stated, but even though he knew he would arrive a lot later than the time his class began, his feet couldn't move from where they were— like he wanted to stay there forever.

"I hope you left some marmalade on the vase and didn't spread it all on your bread," Calista joked as her eyes travelled from the slice in Coriolanus' hand to his blue eyes.

He took some steps to bring himself closer to her, not realizing what he was doing yet. It was like his mind didn't work, but only his body, doing its own, weird things. Coriolanus wrapped his free hand around Calista's waist, hugging her, while she did the same not realising what was happening as well. "I did, don't worry." And then he kissed her forehead so quickly like when you made a move both of you felt discomfortably about but wanted more than anything else too. "I'll see you in the afternoon."
