Media Day: Oscar had just walked inside the motorhome when he was stopped by Lando. The drivers stared at each other, the Australian already knew what his teammate would be asking.
Lando on the other hand narrowed his eyes at him, Oscar did not let this faze him, he stared back. They were having a staring contest when suddenly they were both hit in the head.
"Ow!" they both yelled. They turned to see Evangeline standing there. "Ate Ange!" Oscar said, his mood changed the moment he saw her. She chuckled when he hugged her, she turned to Lando, "Lando making you late again?" she asked.
Oscar pulled away and smirked at Lando, "As always." The Brit pointed at him, "Don't pin this on me Oscar." But Evangeline hit his hand, "Don't point." She said. The older driver smiled and bit his pointer finger, something he had learned from the Filipino.
"Come on you two, we have to film that video. Your time is running. The Redbulls are waiting for me." She said. Oscar smirked, "Oh yes. Because the Redbulls are so important." He teased and Lando nodded, agreeing with him, "Angel just loves the Redbulls."
The two McLaren drivers looked at each other and laughed. Evangeline however was not impressed, she had her arms crossed and Oscar was the first one to notice. He cleared his throat and nudged Lando.
The two drivers smiled at her, "Lead the way Angel." Lando said and the reporter snicker and led them top where they would be filming a challenge video.
After filming, the drivers were all together waiting for their turns on the fan stage, suddenly Oscar realized something. He asked his assistant to get the tupperware. Once she had gotten back, he caught the attention of the other drivers.
"Hey guys, I have a snack here but don't eat too much it a rice cake some sort." He said as quiet as he can, he didn't want to get scolded by passing around some heavy snacks.
The drivers flocked around him and the tupperware was passed around, when it was Charles' turn he smiled excitedly, "Puto!" he yelled. Carlos, who was standing next to him blew out the puto he was eating.
"Que?!" he yelled making Fernando laugh out loud. "What do you mean puto?" he asked. Charles looked at him with furrowed eyebrows, "This. It's puto." He said. The Spaniard shook his head, "Nuh uh, we do not say such words around here." He said, a blush on his cheeks.
"I know what you're thinking Carlos, it's a different kind of puto." Charles explained making the others laugh. Lando who didn't really get the joke, furrowed his eyebrows, "I don't get it."
Daniel patted his back, "Just enjoy your puto."
Oscar chuckled and his eyes met with Logan. He was staring at him as he chewed his puto. It was as if his best friend was sending him a mental note and he received it. Before he could react, the American asked, "This is good, who made them?" a smirk on his face.
The drivers turned to the youngest driver in curiosity, but Lando realized what Logan was pointing out and laughed, "I think I know." He crossed his arms and smirked at his teammate.
The Australian gulped, "Liv made them." He said with a shrug but the others either laughed or cheered, "Our Oscar has a girl!" "Dang Oscar has tricks we don't know about."
"Stop." He said sternly and they smiled at her. "We're just proud of you." Logan said with a smirk. "You? Being proud of me is doubtful Logan." Oscar fired back making the others laugh.
"Well, let's stop razzing our boy up. He looks like a tomato." Daniel said with a pat to Oscar's back. Charles laughed, "Red as Ferrari Oscar." He joked making the youngest driver to flip them off.
After the fan stage, Oscar and Lando found themselves sitting in the debriefing room. After media day, the team was to have a meeting for the preparations for free practices tomorrow.
Everyone was waiting when Lando finally asked his teammate, "So, when are you going to introduce us to Liv? Does she even know you're a racer?" he asked.
Despite all the bullying and jokes, Lando always looked after Oscar. Something he learned Daniel and Carlos did for him when they were his teammate.
Oscar let out a sigh, "I invited her." He admitted. Lando hummed and motioned for him to continue, "But she has graduation so, she declined." He finished.
The older driver hummed and nodded, "Can I know who she is? Aside from being Liv?" he asked. The Australian looked at her, he knew he was worried, he didn't want Oscar to be making rash decisions.
The younger driver let out a breath and smiled to himself. A quiet chuckle escaping his lips, it was as if he was seeing her in front of him.
"She's the girl. She's smart, and fun, and beautiful." Oscar said with a smile, he looked at his kuya Lando, "She's got these eyes and this hair." He said with the softest of voice. Lando kept quiet and let him explain, "And her smile! She makes my heart with the simplest of actions."
Lando looked at him, and Oscar sighed, "Am I screwed?"
The Brit shook his head, "No. I think you're in love."
