Ragini had thought that everything will come back to its place once they reveal the truth, she was sure that she wasn't alone and had Sid by her side. She was utterly disappointed and blue when she got to realize that her expectations from him were all in vain.

"Have you gone insane?" She finally gained some strength to speak.

"I'm sorry but I think this is the right thing to do. You don't wanna hurt so many people because of our selfishness, right?"

"So you came to break up with me and convince me to get married?" she shouted with fury in her beautiful brown eyes.

Sid nodded and she slapped him hard on his cheek. It turned red and she didn't seem sorry at all. His eyes were teary and she knew that it was hard for him as well but still couldn't forgive him as he was the one who didn't have the guts to fight for their love or maybe he just didn't want to.

"You're such a loser. You know what, I was a fucking fool for falling for a guy like you." And she walked toward her car.

Half an hour later

"Where did you go all of a sudden? You didn't even pick up our calls? Where were you?" asked Ragini's mother.

"Just an urgent call from office." Ragini replied with a fake smile on her face.

She was devastated, she had just broken up with her boyfriend of 4 years because he was a fucking loser. At that moment, she despised him more than anyone or anything in the world.

"Why are you making that face? You looked so happy a while ago. What's the matter? Is there anything you're worried about? You can tell me," said Ma.

"It's just office work. Don't worry, I'm okay."

"It seems unbelievable that you're getting married in fifteen days. I wish we had some more time we could spend together; we'd have to wait for six more months if we had denied the current dates. It's not a big deal, you'll be living in the same city. You'll visit us often, right?"

"Hmm. Same city." Ragini was still in shock and was not in her right state of mind. His words still echoed in her mind and they made her restless.

"Mumma, I'm exhausted. I wanna take a nap." And she resorted to her room upstairs.

"She looks unhappy." Her mother said to her father.

"She likes him, right? She seemed happy earlier," said her father with lines of worry on his broad forehead.

"Wedding jitters. She'll be leaving us soon, she must be feeling bad about it."

"I like Sparsh. He's a nice man."

"So do I. He's responsible and mature and I'm sure he'll love and take care of our little troublemaker daughter," said  mother with tears welling up in her eyes.

Father teased her and said, "Save some for her vidaai(farewell)."
